Nobody would have guessed that cable news superstar Bill O'Reilly and the BBC's favourite ethnic 'progressive', Yasmin Alibai-Brown, would be in broad agreement on the subject of fatherless children and breakdown of the traditional family.
O'Reilly's talking points memo was triggered by the death of street thug Trayvon Martin and the subsequent attempt by the Obama administration, led by his radical activist Attorney General Eric Holder and the black grievance industry, to blame white racism despite the fact that the perpetrator was Hispanic.
Yasmin Alibai-Brown's article was triggered by the devastation caused by fatherless families in a crime infested Birmingham ghetto inhabited by ethnic minorities and the poor white underclass.
Both agree that the breakdown of the traditional family and the lack of male role models has had a devastating effect on the people concerned and on society as a whole, but more importantly both contend that it is a lack of leadership that perpetuates the situation.
I am not in a position to dispute O'Reilly's rationale but I would contest the view that in Great Britain it's a lack of leadership. The leaders in Great Britain knew exactly what they were doing by creating this underclass, it didn't happen suddenly by accident. It didn't creep up on them unseen while they were busy elsewhere.
O'Reilly contends that race baiters such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, together with the race grievance industry, will have their livelihoods threatened by a meaningful conversation on race relations and who insist that any criticism of black culture is racial bias.
He goes on to state that black culture leads to racial profiling because, as statistics prove, young black men are invariably involved in crime. Young black men commit homicides at a rate 10 times more than whites and Hispanics combined. The mini Holocaust in Chicago whereby by hundreds of black Americans are murdered each year by other blacks is ignored by the Obama administration and the civil rights industry.
They blame everything from guns, poor education and lack of jobs but don't address the heart of the problem which is the breakdown of the traditional African-American family.
O'Reilly believes it is the 73 percent of black babies born out of wedlock that drives poverty and the lack of fathers leads to boys growing up resentful and unsupervised.
In a paragraph that should raise the temperature of the debate O'Reilly states that:
"White people don't force black people to have babies. That's a personal decision; a decision that has devastated millions of children and led to disaster both socially and economically. So raised without much structure, young black men often reject education and gravitate towards the street culture, drugs, hustling and gangs. Nobody forces them to do that; again, its a personal decision".
O'Reilly also blames the so called 'entertainment' industry, which incidentally, is packed with multi-millionaire 'progressive' grievance mongers, for marketing the gangsta culture, hip hop, movies, and trashy TV shows to impressionable youngsters.
"In fact, President Obama has welcomed some of the worst offenders in that cesspool to the White House when he should be condemning what these weasels are doing" states an emotional O'Reilly.
His solution is to actively discourage pregnancies out of marriage, impose strict discipline in schools, including mandatory student uniforms, and to create a zero tolerance policy for gun and drug crimes with mandatory harsh prison time for offenders.
He concludes by challenging Obama and the African-American leadership to walk away from the victimization and grievance industry and lead the way out of the current mess.
Yasmin Alibai-Brown spent seven days living in what she describes as a 'man desert' in the Ladywood area of Birmingham. To outsiders this is a ghetto made up of Afro-Caribbeans, Indians, Pakistanis and poor whites; where seventy percent of children are fatherless and where the number of benefit claimants is one of the highest in the land.
Her description of the link between fatherless families to drugs and crime is not unlike O'Reilly's, but there are subtle differences.
Alibai-Brown introduces her readers to Bianca Marquis, a 30 year old Afro-Caribbean who has two daughters by two different fathers, she has two sisters who are single mothers and a brother who is an absent father. She has 60 cousins all raised by single mothers and her own mother had five children by three different men.
Then there is Kim Ellis from Jamaica, who's husband abandoned her with 2 children and one on the way, leaving the taxpayer to pick up the bill.
Naz, an African, who has served time for drug crimes, has fathered two daughters by two different mothers.
Ruth Haile from Eritrea has three children by two fathers and like the others is living on benefits.
And so it goes on and on interminably. Despite what the grievance industry may claim, the situation in Ladywood has nothing whatsoever to do with racial discrimination or residual victimization left over from slavery. These lifestyles are personal choices which are made because the government makes it financially viable to do so. Great Britain's reputation for handing out generous welfare benefits to anyone is legendary across the planet.
It is not white people or the system that forces these people to continue having babies by different fathers, but it is the system that finances it and therein lies the problem.
As most British people will know,Yasmin Alibai-Brown is a serial whiner and a leading light in the British grievance industry. She came into the country that she continually criticizes, voluntarily from Uganda. She states that "Right and Left wing politicians fight each other on the issue of family breakdown, fathers disappear and single mothers bemoan their lot in life".
Unlike O'Reilly she offers no solutions other than the usual worn out and tired 'what is the government going to do about it'? She needs to remember that apart from one year in 1969, Birmingham Ladywood has been a stronghold of her beloved Labour party since 1945.
It was her party with her support that actively encouraged mass immigration and the formation of these welfare addicted ghettos in the first place, and with full knowledge of the consequences. Both parties are doing nothing because they both agree with the cultural replacement agenda.
Some of the solutions are obvious but the agenda driven elite in Parliament will not implement them despite the fact the majority of the British people would give their full support.
a) stop adding to the problem by continuing with open border mass immigration.
b) stop giving welfare benefits to immigrants and those who have not paid in.
c) make sure the fathers name goes onto every birth certificate and make sure they pay for their own offspring.
d) assist with transportation costs for those who are not happy with Great Britain, or those who "bemoan their lot in life", to relocate somewhere more to their liking.
e) deport all immigrants convicted of any crime, with the option of their offspring joining them thus preserving their human right to family life.

Welfare Dependency, Crime and Punishment - Moral Degeneracy Encouraged
It seems that with every day that passes more heinous crimes are being committed in the so called civilised world and particularly against children. In any subsequent trial of the perpetrators the punishments are not reflecting the seriousness of the crime.
The conclusion of the horrific Michael Philpott case is an opportune time to reflect on the issues, together with the neglect of the government and local authorities to protect the murdered children, despite some high profile cases.
Briefly, unemployed Michael Philpott knew the British welfare system inside out and what he was 'entitled' to claim. The father of 17 children, he lived with his wife, mistress and 11 of the children in a taxpayer funded house. His welfare 'benefits' totalled circa $93,000 per year. In the real world of the people who work every day to fund this largess, this would require an income of around $155,000.
Philpott was a violent criminal, drug taker and child abuser which prompted his mistress to run away and take five of the brood. This had the effect of reducing Philpott's income by $2,550 per month. Together with his wife he hatched a plot to burn down the house and blame the mistress with the intention of taking the children back, restoring their child benefit and getting a bigger house in the process.
Philpott and his wife succeeded in burning the house and six of their children perished in the blaze. This horrific case concluded when Philpott was sentenced to 17 years in prison of which he must serve a minimum of 15 years. His 32 year old wife and a family friend were sentenced to 17 years, of which they will serve only half.
Critics claim that the welfare state created Michael Philpott and this has sent 'progressives' into apoplexy. Their welfare state is sacrosanct and above all criticism; anyone who dares is smeared as uncaring, selfish bigots. Many agree that the welfare state did not create Philpott but it certainly enabled him to live an indolent life, free of all responsibility and taking into account his previous violent behavior, tragic consequences were always highly likely.
Philpott was able bodied but was not actively searching for work, in fact he took pride in announcing that he had no intention of working. The system allowed him to do this but any attempts at reform is vehemently opposed by the 'progressive' hand wringers in the Labour/Lib Dem axis who rely on the likes of Philpott for votes today, and his brood when they reach voting age.
The criminal justice system is a complete abomination. Michael Philpott had previously been sentenced to 7 years in prison for the attempted murder of his girl friend and committing grievous bodily harm against her mother. He stabbed her 27 times and cut her throat and also stabbed her mother 11 times, leaving them both for dead. Seven years is a soft sentence to begin with but that was reduced on appeal and he was freed after only 3 years.
This kind of sentencing brings the entire system into disrepute. For the murder of six innocent children Philpott got 15 years while his wife and friend get 17 years with an automatic reduction of 50%. To any rational person that's not a 17 year sentence its 8.5.
What kind of message does that send to the Philpotts of this world and any other similar low lifes?
Bearing in mind that after an appearance on the appalling Jeremy Kyle Show, Philpott was a celebrity and should have been know to the social services children department of the local authority. The children were being abused and starved under the noses of the social workers.
The British people were promised that after the Victoria Climbie and Baby P child murders, that lessons have been learned but they obviously haven't. The chances of anyone from the local authorities being held to account and prosecuted for the death of these six children are slim to zero.
Victoria Climbie was tortured and killed by her great aunt and her boyfriend who were tried and found guilty of manslaughter. They were sentenced to life imprisonment but if past sentences are anything to go by they will be released when some sympathetic judge takes pity on their plight.
Changes were put in place after an exhaustive inquiry into the Haringey social services so there would never be another Victoria Climbie, until the equally horrific Baby P murder case that is.
Seventeen month old Peter Connelly was found to have 50 injuries including a broken back, broken ribs, broken fingers, missing fingernails, cigarette burns etc. Baby Peter died when he choked on a tooth that was knocked out after a punch to the face.
Baby Peter had been visited by social workers from the same department in Haringey as Victoria Climbie and had also been examined by a doctor but was still left with the obviously depraved mother and her boyfriend.
This is in contrast to the Rotherham fostering scandal whereby two happy children were removed from their foster parents because they supported UKIP.
In this case the mother, Tracy Connelly, was sentenced to be held indefinitely with a minimum of 5 years. The boyfriend Steven Barker was sentenced to 12 years for murder and, unbelievably, sentenced to life for the rape of a 2 year old with a minimum of 10 years. An accomplice, Jason Owen was sentenced to be held indefinitely with a minimum of 3 years.
These sentences are an insult to the murdered children; the politicians and members of the justice system should hold their heads in shame. This is inexcusable moral degeneracy and its taking place under their watch.
It would appear that if this slide into moral degeneracy is to be halted then serious reform of the welfare and criminal justice systems is absolutely essential but to the political class child murder is not as high a priority as homosexual marriage, 'combating climate change' and the rest of the 'progressive' agenda.
One day they will be held to account and that will not be a day too soon.

Welfare Dependency - I Think They Are Getting The Message
I read a joint article by Chancellor George Osbourne and the Secretary for Work and Pensions Ian Duncan Smith in one of the Sunday papers.
It alluded to the fact that the Labour Party especially Gordon Brown and Ed Balls deliberately and with malice expanded welfare entitlements in order to engineer a constituency that would always vote for Labour regardless of the damage it would do to the economy and the fabric of the nation.
I also read that the leader of the Conservative Party in Scotland (whose name slips my mind) said much the same thing. She said that the Labour Party in Scotland and the SNP are deliberately avoiding change and are content to manage the status quo in order to secure political advantage.
They must be reading this blog. To George, Ian and the lady in Scotland, welcome to the club but what took you so long to work it out to what depths the Labour Party and the SNP will sink to hang on to political power.

Cynon Valley - Labour Epic Fail.
The last time I visited this constituency I stopped at the distillery in Penderyn to top up supplies en route to a day out in Brecon. Its was a beautiful day and everything looked rosy in Hirwaun and Penderyn.
All is not well though, in fact by any measurable criteria its a shameful story of wilful neglect and abuse by politicians, coupled with the utter gullibility of the voters.
Its the typical South Wales story of rapid expansion during the Industrial Revolution followed by an even more rapid decline. Like the neighbouring constituencies of Neath and Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taf it is also its a typical story of Labour Party hegemony and managed stagnation which is designed to achieve wider political goals.
Looking at the political history, Labour has been in control of all the positions of power since its beginning and has just enjoyed thirteen years of unrestrained political power and yet conditions are no better than a generation ago.
According to the Welsh Governments Index of Deprivation 22% of all areas in this constituency fall in the top 10% of Most Deprived Areas in Wales. The majority of its areas are more deprived than the Wales average.
Job Seekers Allowance, Incapacity Benefits and Income Support are all higher than the Wales average. The Education statistics are worse than the Wales average.
This is a disgraceful record and the sole responsibility of the Labour Party and its perverted ideology. The politicians and civic leaders should hang their in shame at this abysmal performance.
They won't off course because they are doing their part as directed by the remote London based Labour elite who have grander plans.
These politicians claim that being champions of the poor, looking out for the underdog and standing up for the vulnerable is what they are about.
Deceivers all. They work to keep their constituents dependent on government, its their mission, its what keeps them in power.
They need the people exactly where they are. It would be a disaster for Labour if the people of Cynon Valley and rest of Wales were prosperous and financially independent of the government.
People of Cynon Valley you, your children and grandchildren are on the scrapheap and that's where you all are destined to stay if Ann Clwyd and the rest of the Labour hypocrites have their way.
Don't despair, there is a way out and its called dissent. Look around you and see the state your politicians have locked you into, ignore the London elite, fight back, kick them out, spare your children and future generations the indignity of welfare dependency.
Deselect Ann Clwyd, send her off into retirement to enjoy her taxpayer funded wealth.
