"All animals are equal but some are more equal than others". If ever there was quote that sums up multi billionaire Bill Gates then this is it. George Orwell buffs will recognize the quote from his world famous novel, Animal Farm. The novel is a parody on the Russian revolution whereby animals, led by the pigs, overthrow their human masters, take over the farm and run it under a communist system. Not unlike today's 'progressive' mantra of equality and fairness, everything on the farm is shared and 'all animals are equal' according to the seventh Commandment of Animalism.
Without giving too much of the story away, the pigs take over the running of the farm, become an elite and start behaving in the same manner as the humans they replaced. Equality and fairness no longer apply to the pigs hence the re-writing of the seventh Commandment.
The resemblance of Bill Gates to the pigs in this novel is uncanny. The formation of Microsoft and the rise Bill Gates into a multi-billionaire is chronicled elsewhere, his nasty flip side and his descent into utter hypocrisy is not.
The current history reads like a modern day fairytale where a geeky college dropout forms a company in his parents garage which grows into a multi-billion dollar global company through technical innovation and hard work, making Gates a personal fortune along the way.
In reality Gates was an arrogant, ruthless operator who attempted to crush any competition from companies or individuals that got in the way of Microsoft's domination of the market. The list of lawsuits by governments and individual companies is endless.
Since his retirement from Microsoft, Gates is now nurturing his reputation as a philanthropist and his support for President Obama is meant to demonstrate his commitment to improving the condition of the American people as well as curing disease in Africa.
The fact that Obama is an unreconstructed radical socialist is now beyond dispute so by lending his support it can be assumed that Gates has adopted Obama's agenda to 'fundamentally transform' America from the free enterprise, limited government system, that allowed him to accumulate his billions, into a socialist state.
Bill Gates doesn't do anything unless there is something in it for himself so his conversion to socialism is suspect. Having made and stashed away his fortune, Gates now advocates higher taxes in order for the government to spend more on entitlements, he is even urging Obama to embrace a global taxation.
Charity giving in the USA is tax deductible so it would be tax efficient for Gates to give as much to charity as possible.
Gates is already being sanctified for his project to cure polio and other diseases in Africa but there is something in it for Bill there too. The big pharmaceutical multi-nationals are up to their necks in dodgy deals in Africa and not all Africans are convinced that Gates is not up to his neck also. His $10 billion donation to vaccine development is now being considered a scam. His polio vaccines, of which he is so proud, has reputedly resulted in the deaths and injury of tens of thousands of African children.
Bill Gates support for Obama's equality and fairness agenda exposes his hypocrisy for all the world to see. President Obama and his radical government firmly believe in equality of opportunity for all of America's children and so should Bill, but when it comes to his own daughter his ideals go out of the window in typical socialist fashion.
Gates obviously doesn't think it goes against his Presidents' agenda of equality and fairness when he buys his daughter a $8.7 million mansion to boost her showjumping career. The level playing field for sporting competitors obviously doesn't apply in the Bill Gates socialist Utopia.
It would be interesting to know whether Gates has paid the applicable gift tax on this mansion or as he found a way around it thus depriving the Obama Treasury of much needed revenue. It would also be interesting to know if the Bill Gates billions will be subject to Estate/Death taxes, currently running at forty percent or has he made a Kennedy arrangement whereby Joe Kennedy's fortune is still intact after all these years, keeping his clan in comfort to this day.
Bill Gates should have remembered from the last Presidential campaign that tax efficiency is unpatriotic and frowned upon by the Obama administration, or maybe that is only applicable when Presidential rival Mitt Romney does it.
As the informed people of the world are aware, the consequences of socialism are only applicable to the little people, the leaders like Obama and the hangers on like Bill Gates make themselves immune from what they preach, they have become the pigs of Animal Farm.

Bill Gates - Obama Needs More Power, Fundamental Transformation Too Slow
Listening to the latest pearls of wisdom from Bill Gates one can understand the reasoning that being rich doesn't necessarily mean you are smart.
In fact the opposite is often true when one thinks of rich people like Marie Antionette "let them eat cake" or Nancy Pilosi with her immortal line "we are going to have to pass the Bill to find out what's in it". This is what passes as intelligent opinion from people with shed loads of money in the bank..
Bill Gate's latest offerings to the media demonstrate how remote he is from the real world and also his complete ignorance of political systems or the reasons they were framed in the way that they were. Worse still is the fact that Bill Gates is helping to destroy the very system that allowed him the freedom to built Microsoft into a global company and make himself a fortune in the process.
It is now unquestionable that President Obama is an unreconstructed socialist who's stated intention is the fundamental transformation of America from a free enterprise system with constitutionally limited government into a collectivist system based on government mandated equality and fairness achieved by high taxation and income redistribution.
According to Obama and his socialist fellow travellers, there will be no place in the newly transformed America for millionaires, billionaires or corporate jet owners.
For Bill Gates to opine that he wishes Obama had more power to double down on the damage he has already done to the American people and their economy, is ignorance, stupidity or a combination both.
Bill Gates believes that Congress is an impediment to Obama doing what he wants and that is undesirable. The fact that the Constitution was deliberately framed that way to prevent government by executive power has obviously passed him by.
The idea of government of the people, for the people, by the people is obviously not something a great mind like Gates is able to process. Maybe some genius out there can find a way of putting into a binary format so that it might help him understand.
Gates claims that you wouldn't run a business like politicians run the country but he doesn't say if Obama could run Microsoft like he runs the United States government.
Instead of telling the people that Obama needs more power he should be telling them what the consequences for Microsoft would be if it were run on Obamanomic theory, which, as we all know, is out of control spending and unsustainable borrowing and debt.
To put it another way, would Gates run Microsoft like Obama runs America?
Bill Gates would like Obama to have more power to put into practice what his ideology commands him to do. He has suggested a system like the British government which has no separation of powers and is nothing other than government by executive decree.
So that our American cousins understand what this means, the following is brief history and what Mr Gates would like to impose on the American people.
There are no primary elections, the political party elites choose or approve candidates. They do not choose candidates who will make their lives difficult, consequently the British people have a supine Legislature filled with gutless sycophants who follow the Executive branch orders.
The judiciary and the second chamber are appointed by the government. This can be summed up as government, of the politicians, for the politicians, by the politicians.
The British people are powerless, they have been disenfranchised and consequently they have been fundamentally transformed against their wishes.
When Phony Tony Blair and his 'progressive' New Labour Party won the 1997 election they set about their long planned fundamental transformation of Great Britain by Executive decree.
Our American cousins will be forgiven if any the following is starting to look uncomfortably familiar:
There is no Second Amendment for the British. They have been disarmed. Gun ownership is illegal...for the law abiding only. Criminals pay no attention to the law and arm themselves regardless.
The government opened the spending floodgates, racking up deficits, borrowing and debt. The government confiscate and spend 50% of GDP.
They increase taxes openly and by stealth. This includes increasing property taxes by 100%. The Blair/Brown administration implemented over 100 new taxes.
The government expanded welfare entitlements and made them available to more people including illegal immigrants, criminals and failed asylum seekers.
They raided the private sector pension funds, effectively bankrupting them and closing them down for new employees.
The government opened the borders to uncontrolled mass immigration with the intention of creating a permanent Labour voting constituency financed by taxpayers funded welfare benefits. This mass immigration policy is also being used as a vehicle for cultural replacement.
They are enforcing multi-culturalism against the wishes of the people. Anyone who voices opposition to this is smeared and in some instances prosecuted.
The government deliberately increased energy prices using Man Made Global Warming as an excuse. When this was exposed as a scam they renamed it 'Combating Climate Change" and carried on regardless.
Against the express wishes of the people the executive redefined traditional marriage to include homosexuals.
Great Britain has been fundamentally transformed, against the wishes of the people, beyond recognition and is no longer the country it was a decade ago. This is what happens when the executive branch is out of control and this is what Bill Gates wants to impose on the American people.
As is always the case with socialist regimes, Bill Gates will not have to suffer the consequences of his hero's transformation nor will he suffer impoverishment from his hero's redistribution of wealth.
For some reason the rich elite always manage to remain rich and elite despite their support for a political system that demonises private wealth and those that create and hold on to it.
Bill Gates is a hypocrite of the very highest order and people are getting tired of listening to this sanctimonious elitist who refuses to practice himself what he preaches to others.
Do the American people a favour Gates and put a sock in it.

Richard Branson To Give Away His Fortune. No Word Yet From Tony Blair
Like him or loath him, one has to admire Richard Branson for the way he has used his entrepreneurial and self promotional skills to amass a personal fortune that the rest of us can only dream about.
From an inauspicious start with Virgin Records, he has created one of the world's most recognisable brands along with Microsoft, Coca Cola, McDonald's and Disney. In the process he has directly created hundreds of thousands of jobs and indirectly possibly millions.
I am sure it wasn't easy, and I for one don't begrudge him a single penny. What I do envy is a billionaire's independence from government. After paying all the taxes he his legally required to pay, he can do what he likes with his money and the politicians can go jump in the nearest lake.
Having such enormous wealth allows an immediate relief from the usual day to day tribulations of life in the west, such as mortgages, household bills, raising children, etc. but it also allows a person to get in touch with their philanthropic side.
Richard Branson has joined his fellow billionaires Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Ted Turner and many others by signing the 'Giving Pledge' whereby they promise to donate a proportion of their wealth to charity.
I have taken Bill Gates to task in a previous post over his breathtaking hypocrisy concerning his attitude to capitalism, the system that allowed him to get rich, and his support for socialist Barack Obama.
This is the President who continually demonises the 'rich' and who, if he had his way, would happily tax Bill Gates and his mates out of existence.
It is my contention that if Gates and the rest of the billionaires openly campaign for a socialist then they should put their money where their mouths are and give their fortunes to the government, after all the government know best how to spend everyone else's money.
Having made that point it has to be accepted that, unlike the rest of us little people, they are not going to hand their money over to the socialists so they should be commended at least for their pledge to give it away to the good causes that they deem most appropriate.
Although he is not a billionaire I would have thought that multi-millionaire Tony Blair, a man of deep conviction and concern for the poor and downtrodden, would do the same with his millions and sign the pledge to give it away.
One would think that a man who has spent his entire life advocating social justice, equality and fairness by the redistribution of wealth would be only too happy to set an example and start the ball rolling by redistributing his own.
Tony Blair could at least make a gesture by returning the $134,000 he is given to finance his private office, on top of his $108,800 pension, back to the hard pressed taxpayer.
There is the possibility that Tony Blair was not sincere when he made is maiden speech in the House of Commons on first becoming an MP:
"I am a socialist, not through reading a text book that has caught my intellectual fancy, nor through unthinking tradition, but because I believe that, at its best, socialism corresponds most closely to an existence that is most rational and moral. It stands for co-operation, not confrontation, for fellowship, not fear. It stands for equality".
It is in the public domain that Richard Branson, Bill Gates and the rest of them made their fortunes by using their talents and skills to innovate and build businesses often from nothing.
It is less clear however, how a career politician like Tony Blair, who's only talent was dissembling, lying and media manipulation could end up such a wealthy individual.
Blair who began his political career by writing a letter to that other socialist icon and reprobate Michael Foot, claiming that he "came to socialism through Marx" now owns 8 houses and has amassed a fortune reputed to be anywhere between $16 and $96 million.
Reports indicate that Blair and his venal wife Cherie have been cashing in on the contacts that he made while in office but surely this would go against their deeply held religious beliefs. They have met the Pope, after all.
Tony Blair refuses to abide by the openness and transparency in his business dealings that his government expected of us, the little people.
The web of companies he utilises to cloak his dealings would put Bernie Madoff to shame but, I suppose, when all is said and done he is a politician so sadly, different rules apply.
The truth is that socialist politicians are venal hypocrites of the very highest order when it comes to practicing themselves what they preach to others.
The list of talentless wealthy individuals that have infested Parliament, and still do for that matter, who preached socialism, equality and the redistribution of wealth but practice something different is a wonder to behold:

Son of the Manse Gordon Brown, of moral compass fame

Nick Clegg and Senora Gonzales, loaded with Euro millions.
Anthony Wedgewood Benn and son Hillary, prolitarianised aristocrat.
David Laws, multi millionaire expense cheat who also cheated the law.
Chris Huhne, property magnate who advocates a mansion tax and windmills.

There is still a week to go for the voters of Eastleigh to wake up and come to their senses.
It remains a mystery why they are still supporting the Lib Dems despite the information that shows them up to be the a party of liars, disseminaters and criminals who will sell them out to their European Union masters in a heartbeat.
It now transpires that their policy guru and one time fund raiser Lord Rennard is standing down to fight charges of being a sexual predator.
I don't want to pre-judge the issue but his party has serious form in the area of sexual shenanigans.
The latest odds are truly depressing:
Lib Dems - 1/4 on
Conservatives - 9/2 from 4/1
UKIP - 10/1 from 12/1
Labour 50/1 from 40/1
It would appear that UKIP are taking support from Labour. Good!

If Bill Gates Has No Use For Money He Should Give It To The Government
If anyone epitomises the American Dream its Bill Gates. The college kid drop out who went on to form one of the worlds biggest enterprises and making himself one of the worlds richest men in the process.
The question as to why he gave candidate Obama his support in the recent election remains a mystery to many people who are forced to live in the real world of government interference and ineptitude.
Bill Gates and his partners built up Microsoft from nothing by their own efforts and ingenuity. Government played little or no part in its success except to tax it at every opportunity and to restrict its growth with thousands of job strangling regulations churned daily out by faceless bureaucrats wanting a piece of the action.
The election campaign laid bare the Obama administration's ideology and their intention to fundamentally transform the free enterprise system that allowed Bill Gates to become successful into a European style socialist system where economic life is centrally controlled by government bureaucrats and only the well connected can become rich.
Surely he must remember the shocking insult by the Obama campaign that if you owned a business "you didn't build that, somebody else did".
The Obama campaign spent millions of dollars demonising millionaires and billionaires like Mr. Gates together with corporate jet owners of the job creating class.
There would be no place for the Bill Gates's of this world in the new fundamentally transformed America where individual success and wealth would be frowned upon and be replaced by the state provision of entitlements in the interests of equality and fairness.
These same entitlements would be paid for by an ever shrinking number of entrepreneurs like Gates.
It may be the case that Bill, having already made his fortune, would not be affected by this infant socialist state and by the time it becomes fully effective he will have shuffled off his mortal coil and gone to meet his maker.
Much is made of his philanthropy and his intention to spend his billions curing diseases in the undeveloped world. This is truly a noble cause and there can be no doubt that thousands, possibly millions of poor people have benefited from Gates's generosity but it is also utter hypocrisy on his part.

It is therefore incumbent upon him to put his trust in the Obama administration and hand over his $65 billion fortune so that they can decide how it is spent, after all he is just another citizen in the new equalised America.
He is currently on a crusade to eliminate poliomyelitis, a noble aim, but surely if he left this to the government that he championed it will be done quicker and cheaper thus saving thousands more lives and leaving extra resources to be spent on other noble projects.

There would be no place for the Bill Gates's of this world in the new fundamentally transformed America where individual success and wealth would be frowned upon and be replaced by the state provision of entitlements in the interests of equality and fairness.
These same entitlements would be paid for by an ever shrinking number of entrepreneurs like Gates.
It may be the case that Bill, having already made his fortune, would not be affected by this infant socialist state and by the time it becomes fully effective he will have shuffled off his mortal coil and gone to meet his maker.
Much is made of his philanthropy and his intention to spend his billions curing diseases in the undeveloped world. This is truly a noble cause and there can be no doubt that thousands, possibly millions of poor people have benefited from Gates's generosity but it is also utter hypocrisy on his part.
