They are all in receipt of gold plated, taxpayer funded EU pensions which are conditional on them never saying anything negative about the EU. Their loot and ill gotten gains are also conditional on them always promoting 'ever closer union'.
At no time during the debate on an EU referendum or any time during interviews in the media have these crooks declared their financial interest in the EU.
In addition to their EU loot, they are also paid taxpayer funded expenses and allowances for being Lords of the Realm; this includes three hundred pounds per day ($480) Attendance Allowance just for turning up.

Re-Writing History To Create A Legend - Nelson Mandela's Terrorist Past Airbrushed Out

These PR men and professional spinners are so skilled in their black arts they can manipulate the unfortunate dumbed down community to believe anything they choose. Even supposedly intelligent people can fall victim to the malign influence of these propagandists.
While flipping channels trying to find the Man U v Tottenham Hotspur soccer game, I had the misfortune of coming across an interview with the 'Progressive' in Chief from across the water. This interview took place after his return from the Mandela death jamboree in South Africa. Barry Obama/Soetoro kept referring to the late celebrity terrorist Nelson Mandela, not by usual name, but by the term 'Madiba'.
Not to be outdone, Great Britain's PR media created Prime Minister, David Cameron, has also started to use 'Madiba' when referring to Mandela. It would appear that in the ever-so-trendy circles inhabited by the 'progressive' elite, the process of rehabilitation and legend-creating of a former terrorist has started in earnest.
From the deluge of articles that followed the passing of 'Madiba', and in particular the over the top fawning coverage from the taxpayer funded BBC, little mention was made of his terrorist past as the founder and leader of the Maoist inspired Umkhono we Sizwe. (The Spear of the Nation)

Abu 'The Hook' Hamza who lost his hand fighting the Russians in Afghanistan will be renamed 'Jiddo'. If Arabic proves to be too difficult then 'Hamzabida' may be used.
Bill Ayres, American domestic terrorist, indiscriminate bomber and friend of Barry Obama, has already been rehabilitated but will now be known affectionately as Grandpappyadiba in honour of his valiant attempt to violently overthrow the state.

The Walking Dead - Great Britain Dying From Within
"It is without doubt that we are standing among the ruins of a once great civilization." George Orwell wrote during the post war depression: it would be interesting to know what he would have thought of the wreckage we live in today, thanks to his beloved Labour Party and its collaborators in the other legacy parties.
As the borders are thrown open to twenty nine million Romanian and Bulgarian economic migrants and with it unfettered access to Great Britain's failing public services, the whole world is witnessing the final gasping breaths of the once unconquerable British bulldog.
The debilitating sight of British Members of Parliament, such as Keith Vaz, welcoming these unfortunates at the border before ascertaining whether they intend to embark on a criminal career or a life on welfare, was dispiriting for the hard pressed indigenous population.
The oleaginous Vaz is studiously ignoring the governments own crime figures, whereby ninety percent of all identity theft, fraud and street crimes are being carried out by organized Romanian crime gangs, in order to further display his open contempt for the victims of these crimes and the long suffering British people as a whole.
Having said that, Vaz is not alone in his open display of contempt for the British people and their culture; the Palace of Westminster is infested with people like him. From the House of Commons and the unelected House of Lords, the place is a cesspit of corruption, nepotism, cronyism and criminal activity that would put the Sopranos to shame.
At this point I will display a little sympathy with these charlatans for the simple reason that it is we the people who put them there, it is we the people that tolerate their appalling behavior and it is we the people that re-elect them over and over again to carry on with their destructive agenda.
With the brain dead voting habits of the British people, who can wonder that these cynical crooks are going to take advantage and look after themselves, their families and their agenda driven cronies.
In a healthy democracy there should be no such thing as a safe seat; this predictability gives the corrupt political class an opportunity to parachute into constituencies groups of like-minded establishment cronies to the detriment of the people themselves.
I come from the land of tribal voters where people will mindlessly vote Labour no matter how unsuitable the candidate or what damage they have wreaked on the country. This behavior is not restricted to my neck of the woods; the following are classic examples of unexplainable brain dead tribal voting:
Rotherham is without doubt a town which is festering with racial division, cultural dysfunction and all the social problems associated with high unemployment and low educational achievement.
This town is the poster child for imposed multi-culturalism. It is one of the towns that is blighted by Muslim paedophile gangs who were responsible for grooming under age white girls for vile sexual abuse with the complicit approval of the Labour controlled authorities.
Make no mistake, the appalling problems being suffered by this town are down to the Labour party only, no one else - no ifs, no buts, no Conservatives, no Liberals just the Labour party.
It was the Labour party that wrecked the economy, dumbed down the education system and opened the borders to uncontrolled mass immigration. It was the Labour party that smeared anyone as a racist who questioned their agenda. It was the Labour Council and its bureaucrats that turned a blind eye to Muslim paedophile abuse in the interests of "cultural sensitivity" and "community cohesion".
It is the Labour Party that tolerates career 'progressive' bureaucrats such as Joyce Thacker who removed children from a happy family environment because the foster parents didn't agree with her multi-cultural political point of view.
The voters of this town continually re-elected the odious political thug Denis MacShane, who is currently serving time in prison on account that he is a low life thief who wantonly stole from the very people he was supposed to be representing.
MacShane is a fanatical Europhile who believes that the citizens of Great Britain, and that includes Rotherham, should give up their sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats by becoming a province of the United States of Europe.

Sheffield Hallam is another town inhabited with unthinking tribal voters no matter how deceitful and malign their representative is.
Of all the charlatans that infest Parliament, Nick Clegg has to be one of the most odious. This one has no connection with planet earth let alone Sheffield, therefore it must remain a mystery how the people were conned into voting for him as their representative. He has been part of the remote elite from the day his England hating Dutch mother brought him forth into a life of privilege, back scratching and string pulling.
This obnoxious character has perfected the art of lying with a straight face and will make any promise, spout any platitude and stab any back in order hold on to political power.

The worse case of all when it comes to mindless, brain dead tribal voters must be the people of Neath and Port Talbot; they have not only embarrassed the people of Wales but the entire country by allowing themselves to be conned by the biggest charlatan of them all, Peter Hain. I have written about this cowardly fraudster before and have no intention of doing so again as the mere mention of his name fills me with shame and loathing.

It can be done where there's a will and a bit of backbone
As the borders are thrown open to twenty nine million Romanian and Bulgarian economic migrants and with it unfettered access to Great Britain's failing public services, the whole world is witnessing the final gasping breaths of the once unconquerable British bulldog.
The debilitating sight of British Members of Parliament, such as Keith Vaz, welcoming these unfortunates at the border before ascertaining whether they intend to embark on a criminal career or a life on welfare, was dispiriting for the hard pressed indigenous population.
The oleaginous Vaz is studiously ignoring the governments own crime figures, whereby ninety percent of all identity theft, fraud and street crimes are being carried out by organized Romanian crime gangs, in order to further display his open contempt for the victims of these crimes and the long suffering British people as a whole.
Having said that, Vaz is not alone in his open display of contempt for the British people and their culture; the Palace of Westminster is infested with people like him. From the House of Commons and the unelected House of Lords, the place is a cesspit of corruption, nepotism, cronyism and criminal activity that would put the Sopranos to shame.
At this point I will display a little sympathy with these charlatans for the simple reason that it is we the people who put them there, it is we the people that tolerate their appalling behavior and it is we the people that re-elect them over and over again to carry on with their destructive agenda.
With the brain dead voting habits of the British people, who can wonder that these cynical crooks are going to take advantage and look after themselves, their families and their agenda driven cronies.
In a healthy democracy there should be no such thing as a safe seat; this predictability gives the corrupt political class an opportunity to parachute into constituencies groups of like-minded establishment cronies to the detriment of the people themselves.
I come from the land of tribal voters where people will mindlessly vote Labour no matter how unsuitable the candidate or what damage they have wreaked on the country. This behavior is not restricted to my neck of the woods; the following are classic examples of unexplainable brain dead tribal voting:
Rotherham is without doubt a town which is festering with racial division, cultural dysfunction and all the social problems associated with high unemployment and low educational achievement.
This town is the poster child for imposed multi-culturalism. It is one of the towns that is blighted by Muslim paedophile gangs who were responsible for grooming under age white girls for vile sexual abuse with the complicit approval of the Labour controlled authorities.
Make no mistake, the appalling problems being suffered by this town are down to the Labour party only, no one else - no ifs, no buts, no Conservatives, no Liberals just the Labour party.
It was the Labour party that wrecked the economy, dumbed down the education system and opened the borders to uncontrolled mass immigration. It was the Labour party that smeared anyone as a racist who questioned their agenda. It was the Labour Council and its bureaucrats that turned a blind eye to Muslim paedophile abuse in the interests of "cultural sensitivity" and "community cohesion".
It is the Labour Party that tolerates career 'progressive' bureaucrats such as Joyce Thacker who removed children from a happy family environment because the foster parents didn't agree with her multi-cultural political point of view.
The voters of this town continually re-elected the odious political thug Denis MacShane, who is currently serving time in prison on account that he is a low life thief who wantonly stole from the very people he was supposed to be representing.
MacShane is a fanatical Europhile who believes that the citizens of Great Britain, and that includes Rotherham, should give up their sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats by becoming a province of the United States of Europe.
Denis MacShane didn't suddenly become a thieving obnoxious shit overnight, he always was one from the very start but this didn't stop the voters of Rotherham re-electing him over again.
No matter what the hardships wreaked on the people of Rotherham by the incompetence of the Labour Party, including the sexual abuse of their young girls, it appears that the people will still not think for themselves, they will remain the walking dead and keep voting Labour.
Sheffield Hallam is another town inhabited with unthinking tribal voters no matter how deceitful and malign their representative is.
Of all the charlatans that infest Parliament, Nick Clegg has to be one of the most odious. This one has no connection with planet earth let alone Sheffield, therefore it must remain a mystery how the people were conned into voting for him as their representative. He has been part of the remote elite from the day his England hating Dutch mother brought him forth into a life of privilege, back scratching and string pulling.
This obnoxious character has perfected the art of lying with a straight face and will make any promise, spout any platitude and stab any back in order hold on to political power.
Clegg despises Great Britain with a passion; he despises its history, its institutions, its culture and its people. The people of Sheffield Hallam should be under no illusions, this guy will sell them out to the unaccountable bureaucrats in Brussels in a heartbeat. No one is more committed to the ending of Great Britain as a sovereign state than this evil man.

The State Removes Baby From Mothers Womb - Scandal Of Britain's Secret Courts
When the state and its agents wield unaccountable power over the lives of its citizens it is a sure sign that the post democratic age is arriving. When that power is wielded in secret, with imprisonment for anyone who challenges it, then it's sure sign that the post democratic age has already arrived.
With the shocking details of the state ordering the forced removal of a baby from its mothers womb and its subsequent confiscation for adoption, one would be forgiven for assuming we are talking about National Socialist Germany or Soviet Russia not twenty first century Great Britain.
The treatment that Alessandra Pacchieri and her unborn baby received at the hands of the British state, in conjunction with the local government bureaucrats of Essex Council and the NHS, should give cause for concern to every decent freedom lover the world over.
To recap briefly, Ms Pacchieri is an Italian citizen who was attending a cabin crew training a course at Stansted Airport in Essex, near London. She suffers from a bipolar condition which was kept under control by medication: she was also four months pregnant. Ms Pacchieri stopped taking her medication for fear it would harm her baby and suffered a panic attack as a result. She then went on to make one of the biggest mistakes of her life by calling the police.
She gave them the phone number of her mother in Italy who explained her daughter's bipolar condition and that appeared to have been enough to set the state apparatus in motion.
Ms Pacchieri was sectioned under the Mental Health Act and held against her will in a psychiatric ward. She begged to be sent back to her family in Italy or at least be allowed to argue her case in court. This was refused and she was informed by the faceless bureaucrats from Essex Council that her yet unborn baby was going to be taken from her.
Under the current law a baby cannot be taken by the state until it is born therefore bureaucrats from the local NHS trust obtained a court order permitting birth to be enforced. Ms Pacchieri was taken against her will into the operating theatre, given a general anaesthetic and her baby was removed from her womb.
On a couple of occasions she was allowed to see her baby prior to its permanent confiscation by the state.
Bearing in mind she was only four months pregnant at the time, every sensible person will be asking as to why wasn't she put on the next flight, boat, bus or Euro star high speed train back to her home and family in Italy? There doesn't appear to be a single reason why the British state had to get involved at all.
Essex Council and the NHS trust applied to the high court that their plans for Ms Pacchieri and her unborn baby be kept secret both from Ms Pacchieri and the British public.
The judge who authorized this appalling episode was a Mr. Justice Mostyn, a fully paid up member of the remote political elite. On authorizing the NHS plan to force a cesarean and confiscate the baby thereafter, Justice Mostyn told the court that Ms Pacchieri should not know about the order before she is taken to the hospital.
The following exchange between Ms Pacchieri's state appointed representative and Justice Mostyn is chilling.
"My Lord, if it assists, it would be perfectly appropriate to include in the terms of the order that the substance of it shall not be communicated to the patient until after...the operation. If she disagrees with it she can apply afterwards to discharge it."
Justice Mostyn replied that it would be appropriate and also authorized the use of "reasonable and proportionate force if needed."
According to her lawyer, Ms Pacchieri has fully recovered from her panic attack, "she is strong, she has work, she has a job, she has a house, she has a normal life. There is absolutely no reason not to allow this woman a second chance"
All access by the mother is forbidden and the baby is up for adoption.
This system that is in place and the actions taken by the state in the form of the police, Essex Council social workers, the NHS trust and Justice Mostyn are supposedly in the best interests of the mother and child.
If this is so, then Justice Mostyn and the aforementioned state agencies might like to explain how it is in the best in interests of a child to be exposed to the mother who stabbed it with a kitchen knife when it was a baby, in an attempt to end its life.
The woman in question served five years in prison for the attempted murder of her newborn and was scheduled for deportation back to Bangladesh when Justice Mostyn intervened and halted the deportation on the grounds that it would not be in the child's best interests not to have exposure to the woman who stabbed it in a murder attempt. Also it would breach the mothers human rights not to have access to the baby she tried to kill.
Human Rights obviously don't apply to Italian women or their babies who's country also happens to be a member of the EU.
There is also the shocking case of Wanda Maddocks who was sentenced to prison by a secret court for removing her elderly father from a care home to which he consigned against his will by the state.
She did not know the her case had been tried in court nor was she represented by a lawyer. The first she knew about her sentence was when the police arrived on her doorstep to take her to jail.
This sort of secret authoritarian behavior by the state and its agents is unacceptable in a free country that prides itself on its centuries old tradition of civil liberties but with the current crop of self serving, agenda driven, career parasites in Parliament, I wouldn't advise anyone to hold their breath waiting for a solution.

England My England - Witnessing The Death Of A Much Loved Friend
Just a couple of days after 'Great' Britain's Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, announced that he "will not tolerate" any obstacles being put in the way of open border mass immigration and only two days before the borders were thrown open to twenty nine million citizens of Romania and Bulgaria, I left my base in South Wales and headed off to visit two high immigrant towns to the West of London in order to assess the effects on the resident English people of the cultural replacement agenda.
In reality I was retracing my steps of some three decades earlier when I left my home and relocated to Hounslow and Southall as a student. Back then Hounslow was already a destination for immigrants from India and Pakistan but it remained, for the most part, an English town with an English atmosphere about it.
Southall on the other hand was already on the way to becoming a higher immigrant town although English people still appeared to be in the majority with the English way of life still prevalent. As with Hounslow, the immigrant population of Southall consisted of people from India and Pakistan.
As tolerant as I am, I cannot deny to being astounded by the changes that have taken place in these two towns; and I left the area with questions which deserve to be answered by the political class who are responsible for this unasked for fundamental transformation of 'Great' Britain
At Hounslow West the only thing left associated with the England of my day was a public house called The Earl Haig, the rest of the strip consisted of Asian, Oriental, African and East European food outlets, halal butchers and kebab shops. (Incidentally, wherever I visited, even in the smallest hamlets and villages of England and Wales, there was an abundance of kebab shops, they were everywhere.)
There were many more people and the appearance of this part of town was shabby and decayed from what I remember. The population which previously consisted mainly of white English, Indian and Pakistani had changed, I saw no English people, only Indian, Pakistani, African and East European.
The Earl Haig used to be a popular watering hole with a large clientele from bedsitter land, commuterville and Irish labourers. On my visit there were only four Asians one of whom was out of his brains at four in the afternoon.
Hounslow High Street itself is a wonder to behold, being almost exclusively foreign. As with the Earl Haig, only the historic Bell pub remained as a reminder of its English past. My own local watering hole from when I lived there, a pub called The Rifleman, is now a Lebanese restaurant.
The end of the High Street, near the bus station is where the biggest change has taken place. The entire area has been taken over and now resembles a bazaar. In addition to the now standard foreign grocery stores, halal butchers, restaurants and kebab shops there was an internet cafe which specialized in international telephone calls and money wiring.
If one gets little sense of being in England while vising Hounslow then a bus ride to nearby Southall is stunning. There is no sense whatsoever of being in England, the town is totally foreign.
In addition to the usual foreign amenities available in Hounslow, there are Gudwara's, Mosques and Temples to dispel any further assumption that one is in England.
I am sure that what I have observed in these two towns is repeated throughout the British Isles with evidence of cultural replacement not only in the big cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, etc. but in smaller former industrial towns such as Rochdale, Rotherham et al.
On my recent tour of South Wales towns, Eastern Europeans selling the Big Issue were cropping up everywhere regardless of local unemployment and the social problems associated with decline and decay.
(It must be noted that a High Court judge has classified Big Issue sellers as self employed, giving these economic migrants immediate access to whole range of taxpayer funded welfare benefits to which they have made no contribution)
Regular readers will be aware that I have written previously about the long planned cultural and demographic replacement agenda which is being pursued by the international 'progressive' community. This agenda was initiated by the UN and facilitated by the British political class of all parties and the EU.
If anyone believes that I am engaging in exaggeration or hyperbole, then they should take time out to visit to some of the places being blighted by economic migrants such as Hounslow or Southall and be enlightened.
The questions that came to me while witnessing this cultural replacement were many; the following are a sample:
a) What is the justification for this cultural replacement agenda?
b) How do the British people benefit from this cultural replacement agenda?
c) Did the British people ask for this agenda?
d) Why is anything that is quintessentially English frowned upon by the political class and subject to eradication?
e) Why did Nick Clegg and the political class from all the legacy parties fail to include cultural replacement in any of their election manifestos?
f) Why is cultural replacement only being imposed in Great Britain and the Anglosphere?
g) Why is cultural replacement not being imposed in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Japan, the Koreas, Africa, China, Russia etc.?
h) Bearing in mind that deliberately destroying one culture and replacing it with another has been termed 'ethnic cleansing' - can Nick Clegg and the political class explain the difference between their cultural replacement agenda and ethnic cleansing?
i) UN bureaucrats use the politically correct term 'de-homogenising' to describe cultural replacement. Will Nick Clegg and the political class explain the difference between cultural replacement, ethnic cleansing and de-homogenising?
j) Will the world be a better place if England and it's culture was erased from the planet?
This list is not finite, it should be enough for Clegg and the rest of political class to be getting along with. The people deserve answers.

e) Why did Nick Clegg and the political class from all the legacy parties fail to include cultural replacement in any of their election manifestos?

US And British Military Demise - Lions Led By Donkeys
On this day when, we give thanks to those who served in the US military and remember those British warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy our freedoms, stories still abound in the media about the lack of respect shown by the top brass who are supposedly in charge of our defence.
It has been mentioned on this site before that the military is there to guarantee our freedom and defence and therefore should be exempt from the usual games played by self serving politicians who's only concern is the implementation of their own agenda.
It has also been mentioned that the left has an ideological hatred of the military and this cannot be demonstrated more clearly than following the actions of President Obama with respect to the military machine of which he is the Commander in Chief.
As the world's foremost 'progressive', the American military machine was always going to be the number one target of his promised 'fundamental transformation' of America. This agenda, combined with the obsession of 'progressives' with sexual orientation, has spelled disaster for the US military.
President Obama has been carrying out a purge of anyone among the military top brass who is deemed to oppose his administration's plans for a feminized or gender neutral military. There are reports that many of America's most experienced military top brass have been relieved of their duty for having the temerity to disagree with the career politicians of the White House administration.
The question that is being rightly asked is, how can an administration made up of career politicians led by a community organizer, possibly know what effects their meddling with the military will have on moral and its effectiveness as a fighting force?
The debacle over the new gender neutral hat for the US Marines is a classic example of bringing sexuality politics where it doesn't belong. This is being done not to improve moral and make the US Marines a better fighting force but to satisfy their perverted ideology.
Things are no better across the Atlantic where Great Britain's media created Prime Minister, David Cameron, is busy demolishing the once mighty British military machine.
The Royal Navy has been reduced to a handful of boats including a single aircraft carrier that is incapable of launching strike aircraft. The historic shipyards at Portsmouth are being closed as a political sop to the Scottish nationalists and two Royal Navy support vessels are being built in South Korea.
Cameron also sold off, at a knockdown price, the entire fleet of Harriers leaving the Royal Navy/Airforce with no VSTOL capability. The Royal Airforce is now dependent upon some ageing Tornado's and the Euro fighter; this was designed over a decade ago and is fast becoming obsolete.
The Army is being reduced to eighty thousand troops with many soldiers receiving their redundancy notices while on active service in Afghanistan.
Military numbers will be below that of Germany after it was disarmed at the Treaty of Versailles. There is a purpose to Cameron's deliberate evisceration of the British military machine and it is that he is preparing it for absorption into the European Union Joint Defence Force.
This will have the effect of signaling the end of one of Great Britain's greatest institutions; an institution that gives the country its identity as a free, independent, sovereign nation. For Cameron, Clegg and Red Ed Miliband, their beloved United States of Europe will be one step closer, and for them it will be mission accomplished.
To drive home the country's contempt for the soldiers serving on the front line, the Head of the Armed forces, General Sir Nick Houghton, is calling for the full weight of the law to brought down of the head of Marine A, who has been found guilty of shooting dead a Taliban terrorist.
Putting his politically correct 'progressive' credentials before the well being of his soldiers, brave Sir Nick claims that "murder is murder, this is a heinous crime, its gravity means he must be severely punished". There should be no clemency.
He then blathers on about "eroding the moral ascendancy over our enemies". By the very fact that the troops are in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban signals that they already have the moral ascendancy. If they didn't have it already, they wouldn't be there. Dispatching one terrorist to Paradise where he wants to be anyway, does not erode the moral ascendancy.
The former Chief of the Defence staff, Lord Guthrie is also calling for Marine A to be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.
Sir Nick Houghton and Lord Guthrie refuse to use the deployment from hell, the constant attacks by the enemy, the deaths of twenty three comrades, and the grisly display of limbs hung in a tree, as mitigation. They are determined to punish this Royal Marine both severely and publicly.
This appalling behavior toward a serving Royal Marine is a clear demonstration that political correctness has a much higher priority than being loyal to ones' own troops serving on the front line.
Taking the behavior of President Obama toward the American military and David Cameron toward the British, it should be easy to spot the common attitude that these two 'progressives' have toward the two greatest military machines in history. These two machines have not only kept the American and British people free, they have liberated millions of oppressed people across the planet.
These two so called 'leaders' and the donkeys that do their dirty work are not fit to polish the buttons on the uniforms of our bravest.

Royal Marine Gets Life For Dispatching Insurgent - Tony Blair Just Gets Rich
By an amazing coincidence I read only yesterday a column written by George Orwell for the Tribune newspaper dated 31 December 1943. It was in reference to 'war guilt' and the surprise that people seem to have when they discover that war is not a crime.
One of the main headlines today is that a Royal Marine has been sentenced to life imprisonment for dispatching an enemy combatant who he was trained specifically to kill.
The column by Orwell and the trial of the Royal Marine has certain parallels and these raise some issues that should be taken into consideration when officers make the decision to prosecute soldiers for killing the enemy.
Before referring to Orwell and this particular case, it is worth looking back briefly at the incident in question.
As I understand it, the accused Marines were sent to check an area for live insurgents after a helicopter had attacked a group of Taliban killers.
They found one who was barely alive and after a few expletives he was dispatched to meet his maker accompanied by a Shakespearean quote from Hamlet.
The incident came to the attention of an officer and it appears the disciplinary process started from there.
Unfortunately the action was caught on a helmet camera and one of the Marines kept a diary which was used in evidence.
The dispatching Marine also made reference to the Geneva Convention which helped seal his fate.
The prosecuting attorney, David Perry QC, stated that the incident was "an execution of a man who was entitled to be treated with dignity and respect and entitled to be treated as any British service man, or service woman, would be entitled to be treated in a similar situation".
I am not sure which planet Mr. Perry QC hails from, but what he doesn't tell us is, that although British service men and women are theoretically entitled to respect and dignity, would they get it from the Taliban?
The Taliban are a formidable, utterly ruthless enemy who, as everyone knows, 'worship death like we worship life', they show no quarter nor do they ask for any in return. They have declared jihad on the west and have threatened to behead all infidels if they do not accept domination by their desert death cult.
The Taliban butcher their own kind with no mercy, including women and children, for partaking of normal activities such as attending school or flying a kite.
The Geneva Convention does not exist for these medieval barbarians therefore one cannot expect to win a war when only one side fights by the rules.
Did Mr. Perry QC take into account the stress these Marines were under after losing seven comrades killed in action and another forty injured, some with life changing injuries?
Does he accept that only people who have experienced the heat of battle can understand what being attacked every single day does to ones mental equilibrium, let alone sustaining ten casualties in a twenty four hour period.
One of the Marines on trial described as "absolutely devastating" seeing some of his comrades killed in action and their body parts hung in trees as trophies by the same Taliban insurgents who are "entitled to be treated with dignity and respect" from the comrades of the fallen.
Would it not have been better to use the effects of these attacks as mitigation, then send the Marines on some R and R for the purpose of de-stressing, rather than putting them on trial for murder?
Training Marines to kill the enemy, then prosecuting them for murder when they do just that because they didn't kill them within the rules, smacks of posturing.
This incident could have been dealt with in-house, instead the 'powers that be' chose to parade it on the international stage; this show trial has the effect of burnishing their compassionate. 'progressive' credentials for their masters at the UN.
The lessons that should be learned by military men and women who are sent into harms way are this:
a) Always remember some of your officers will stitch you up if it enhances their 'progressive' reputation on the international stage.
b) If you are going to keep a diary, make sure to keep it well hidden.
c) Switch off the helmet camera and microphones in dodgy situations.
As for George Orwell, he summed up the utter stupidity of the attitude to 'official war'. He demonstrates how a soldier dispatching one enemy outside the rules gets charged with murder but the people responsible for starting the war and killing millions are not guilty of anything.
Tony Blair, who is accused by a growing number of people of starting an illegal war in which hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed, is now laughably, a multi-millionaire peace envoy.
While helmet cameras and diaries have been used in evidence against the Marines, the Cabinet Secretary, Sir Jeremy Heywood, is steadfastly refusing to release documents of communications between Blair, Bush and later Brown, to the Chilcot inquiry.
This inquiry was instituted to determine Blair's justification for the Iraq war. Two previous inquiries were so obviously flawed they were dismissed as pure whitewash.
It would appear that Blair has something to hide and the people have a right to know what it is.

"Hitler, it appears, has not done anything actionable. He has not raped anybody, nor carried off any pieces of loot with his own hands, nor personally flogged any prisoners, buried any wounded men alive..........in fact he has not done any of the things which enemy nationals are usually credited with doing in war-time. He has merely precipitated a world war which will perhaps have cost twenty million lives before it ends. And there is nothing illegal in that".
He goes on to describe how the Kharkov trials attempted to pin the guilt on Hitler and the rest, for atrocities committed on the Russian front by his subordinates; the fact that there was a trial, proved that Hitler's guilt was not self evident.
"His crime it is implied was not to build up an army for the purpose of aggressive war, but to instruct that army to torture prisoners".
I will conclude with Orwell's own conclusion from December 1943:
" Nevertheless, a world in which it is wrong to murder an individual civilian and right to drop a thousand tons of high explosive on a residential area does sometime make me wonder whether this earth of ours is not a loony-bin made use of by some other planet".
