Margaret Thatcher - Grocers Daughter To Iron Lady

The 4^th May 2019 should be marked by a public holiday in Great Britain, but it will be treated as a day of mourning by the hate filled Left who will be triggered by the very thought of the 40^th anniversary of Margaret Thatcher coming to power.

Instead of acknowledging her monumental achievements the anniversary will most likely be marked with derision and exaggerated stories about her divisiveness and supposed cold hearted disregard for the poor and downtrodden.

The media and the hate filled Left will play down or ignore the fact that she became the first female leader of the Conservative Party and the first female Prime Minister in what was then the male dominated world of politics.

With one notable exception she was universally derided by all the institutions and influential power groups of the day including trade union leaders, feminists, socialists, communists, the media, the acting fraternity and the Russians along with their Eastern European slave states locked behind the Iron Curtain.

One of her most ardent critics and enemies was the European Economic Community (EEC) and its adherents. The EEC was the forerunner to the European Union of today and it was Margaret Thatcher that exposed to the public the secret nation building agenda of the Europhiles. 

The one notable exception to the universal derision was ‘the people’. The British electorate from all sections of society voted her into office in three consecutive general elections and she may have won a fourth but for the backstabbing Europhiles in her own party who removed her in a coup d’état to prevent their nation building project from being derailed.

Mrs. Thatcher took over the Premiership when Great Britain had declined from an industrial and military powerhouse into a nation bankrupted and demoralized by years of socialist mismanagement. Known as the sick man of Europe, British industry and public life was at the mercy of the trade union barons who brought the country to a standstill time and again in order to further their socialist agenda.

Against the odds, and armed with her uncompromising belief in both the British people and capitalism, Mrs. Thatcher took them all on and won. The trade union barons were put back in their boxes with a consequent recovery of industry and the economy.

As a result of Mrs. Thatcher’s free market reforms, deadbeat, inefficient, tax guzzling industries were privatized allowing the working class to become share-holders in their companies and proud property owners instead of tenants.

During her tenure, and in concert with her soul mate, Ronald Reagan, the Berlin Wall fell along with the Soviet Union empire and millions of enslaved citizens of Europe were liberated from the shackles of socialism/communism tasting freedom for the first time in a generation. The younger generation of the enslaved Eastern European nations tasted freedom for the first time ever.     

Mrs. Thatcher was a titan on the domestic and global political scene, she was fearless and indefatigable, earning herself the title of the Iron Lady by which she is still known today.     

What President Trump is going through today Mrs. Thatcher went through 40 years ago. Universal condemnation from the left and the media accompanied by vilification, insults and personal attacks against her and her family.

In October 1984 she narrowly survived an assassination attempt by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) which killed five Conservative Party colleagues and injured thirty-one. One of those killed was a fellow Member of Parliament.

As a message to the terrorists and her enemies, and as a measure of her courage and determination not to let the terrorists claim a propaganda victory, she carried on regardless with her itinerary.

In a message to the world that under her Premiership Great Britain is not to be messed with, the Iron Lady sent a task force half way around the world to reclaim the Falkland Islands after the invasion by the Argentinian military junta.

Much to the chagrin of the Great Britain hating Left, Mrs. Thatcher’s supreme confidence in the bravery, professionalism and dedication of the British military forces she united the entire nation behind her Falklands endeavor.

Under her leadership losing the Falklands war was never an option. If the Labour Party had been in power they would have surrendered the Islanders to the blood-soaked military junta regardless of their desire to remain British.

As a matter of interest, they also planned to sell out the British citizens of Gibraltar along with other British overseas territories and the Northern Irish, but I digress.

Her legacy of liberty, free enterprise, prosperity and national pride has been squandered by a treacherous political class more dedicated to globalism, supranational government and collectivism regardless of its deleterious effect on the nation and its morale.

Compared to the Iron Lady all successive Prime Ministers have been a collection of spineless cowards, pathological liars and treasonous Quislings whose loyalty is to the European Union and its project to fully integrate Great Britain into a centrally controlled United States of Europe.

Known as the grey man, John Major was the chosen front man for coup plotters. He was a fanatical Europhile who signed the Maastricht Treaty in 1992 without holding the referendum he promised. This was the Treaty that deceptively changed the European common market project from an economic and zero tariff-based project to the nation building political union we see today.

The grey man was followed by Tony Blair, one of the most reviled and destructive Prime Ministers in history who many believe should be charged with war crimes for his involvement in the Iraq war.

Falsely sold as a tidying up or streamlining exercise, it was Blair that signed the Amsterdam Treaty in 1997 which surrendered sovereignty over a whole range of areas from the Westminster Parliament to the bureaucrats in Brussels.

Blair and his cronies delayed the promised referendum on this treaty until 2006 by which time the damage was done. The referendum promise was quietly dropped long before then.

Next came the ignorant and economic imbecile, Gordon Brown. Not only did he wreck the private pension schemes and sell off Great Britain’s gold reserves for a song, he also signed the Lisbon Constitution/Treaty without the promised referendum.

This is the Treaty that gave the United States of Europe international legitimacy, it also surrendered what was left of Great Britain’s sovereignty.

Following Gordon Brown was the spineless, chinless wonder, David Cameron. This Prime Minister was going to re-negotiate Great Britain’s terms of membership then put these terms and continued membership before the people in a referendum.

The rest is history, he lied about his reforms and the people voted to leave. Like the coward he is, instead of implementing the result as promised, he promptly resigned leaving the door open to the fanatical Europhile, Theresa May.

She has spent her entire time in office trying to reverse the result of the referendum and keep Great Britain locked inside the EU institutions in perpetuity.

 Theresa May has capitulated to the EU bureaucrats every step of the way in a manner the Iron Lady would never countenance.

Judging by the potential leaders on offer today, Margaret Thatcher, the Iron Lady, was the last of the Churchillian Prime Ministers whose like the British people will never see again.

“If my critics saw me walking over the Thames they would say it was because I couldn’t swim”.

“To cure the British disease with socialism is like trying to cure leukemia with leeches”.

Meryl Streep Plays The Iron Lady - David Cameron Plays Himself

Anyone who has watched Meryl Streep's depiction of the former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the film The Iron Lady, can not have failed to have been impressed by how uncannily well she played the part. In addition to an Oscar nomination, she also won Golden Globe and BAFTA awards for best actress.

Written by Abi Morgan and directed by Phyllidia Lloyd, the one criticism one reads about is that by choosing Margaret Thatcher's decent into dementia as the backdrop instead of her history changing presence on the world stage, they missed a golden opportunity to make a truly classic biographical movie.

As good as the film was, when everything is taken into consideration Meryl Streep's performance was just acting and The Iron Lady, despite being loosely based on historical events, was mostly fiction.

For those of us fortunate enough to be immune to spin and the black arts of media manipulation, David Cameron's speech to the Conservative Party conference last week was similar to Ms. Streep's movie performance but without the glamour. It was all just acting and the contents of his speech, despite being loosely based on history, was mostly fiction also.

The whole choreographed charade was directed by Cameron's expensively hired political strategist, Lynton Crosby and written by his team of spin doctors. The object of the exercise is to get Cameron re-elected with his personal political agenda intact with little or no regard for the truth or the aspirations of the British people.

Although it is most likely down to professional coaching, one has to give Cameron credit for his acting abilities. His performance may not have won him an Oscar but his ability to read a prepared script, using emphasis and cadence in the right places, and making good use of choreographed body language, he came across as mildly Prime Ministerial.

(One has to admit that compared with the previous weeks performance by Labour Party leader Ed Miliband, he was positively Churchillian. No great achievement under the circumstances but I digress)

Before looking at the speech itself it is worth keeping in mind some facts about David Cameron, his core beliefs and his political loyalties. This will help the reader to understand the subtlety of the deception being perpetrated on the British people and also to admire the dubious skills of Lynton Crosby and his team of media manipulators.

On seizing control of the Conservative Party, Cameron replaced their traditional British values and policies with the trendy 'progressive' agenda that has been adopted by the remote, wealthy metropolitan elite. They live under the mistaken belief that only their view is right and all other views, including those of the British people, should be ignored.

He has had little or no contact with the British people, he cannot identify with them, he has no empathy for them, he has little understanding of them nor does he care. Whatever he says, the truth is he is totally committed to the 'progressive' transformational agenda for Great Britain. This consists primarily of remaining a member of the European Union at all costs and with all that entails.

When reading the speech it is essential to keep Cameron's previous statements and actions at the forefront of ones mind or run the risk of being seduced by his faux passion and his convincing display. Also remember it is choreographed for its impact in the media for their use in the coming election campaign.

There was no better way for him to kick things off than by displaying his patriotism coupled with his supposed respect for our glorious military men and women. Bearing in mind he is eviscerating the same military in readiness for its absorption into the European Defence Force.  Associating himself with a ninety one year old veteran of the Normandy landings created the right image but was particularly cynical.

He goes on to invoke the horrors of ISIS in order to justify the bombing campaign in Iraq and to deal with ISIS abroad before they bring terror and murder to the streets of Great Britain.

Obviously Cameron suffers from the same selective amnesia that afflicted Ed Miliband during his speech last week where he forgot to mention the deficit his party left behind.

As a reminder, Muslim terror and murder has already been visited on the streets of Great Britain for some years.

The 7th July bombings, the 21st July attempted bombings, the beheadings of Drummer Lee Rigby and eighty two year old widow, Palmira Silva in London, may have conveniently slipped his mind but not the minds of those people who pay attention.

Continuing with his recently acquired tough guy act, Cameron warned the home grown ISIS terrorists that he will deal with them very firmly indeed. He threatened to prosecute and imprison them or take away their passports. If they are already in Syria or Iraq he will stop them coming back. He is well aware that he can't do this under international law but no matter, there's an election coming up next year and he needs to appear tough.

In a shameless attempt to win the Yorkshire vote he invoked the spirit of another tough guy. Continually at his side during his fight to keep the British people safe from the radical Muslim jihadis that are the creation of his beloved 'multi-cultural society' stood England's greatest living Yorkshireman, William Hague.

I am not sure that the title he has bestowed upon the man known locally as Little Willy Squit has secured the Yorkshire vote, but that's the risk one takes when you hire an Australian as your election guru.

As a sop to the disenchanted and disenfranchised people of England, Cameron has bestowed upon the retiring Hague the task of securing for the English people some democratic justice after the shameless Scottish referendum bribery scandal.

"So this is my vow: English votes for English laws - the Conservatives will deliver it!" How can any English person not vote for David Cameron after that cast iron guarantee?

So on it went for an hour or so, false promise after false promise eloquently delivered in a practiced contrived style that was worthy of an academy award. He doesn't believe a word of it but he delivered it anyway in an attempt to win back the voters that have suffered the consequences of his 'progressive' agenda and who have jumped ship to the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP).

The speech was riddled with the usual soundbites and slogans that have become tedious to all but those who live their lives in the spin doctor dominated, out-of-touch Westminster village.

"Families come first, they are the way you make a nation strong" - In truth Cameron promised to give families a tax break which didn't materialize.

"I care deeply about those who struggle to get by" - In truth Cameron has deliberately increased income taxes,  consumption taxes, fuel and booze duty, energy prices and the cost of living in general.

He then proceeds to let go a series of slogans that are patently in contradiction to what he says and what he does in practice:

"I believe in something for something not something for nothing" - In his speech Cameron claims that those who do the right thing and put in the effort are the people that should be rewarded. This is so patently false because living on welfare is still a lifestyle choice enjoyed by millions and welfare tourism by economic migrants is still effectively unchallenged.

"A Britain that everyone is proud to call home is a Britain where hard work is really rewarded".

"Not a free for all, but a chance for all".

And in a complete contradiction to the reality of David Cameron's Great Britain : "There's no reward without effort; no wealth without work; no success without sacrifice...."  Except of course if you are a politician, a crony, a quangocrat, a cheating recipient of welfare entitlements or an economic migrant.

What about this for cheek: "So let other politicians stand on stages like this and promise an easy life. Not me".......

With a chapter of caveats Cameron sums up this section with:

"Its pretty simple really: a good job , a nice home, more money at the end of the month, a decent education for your children, a safe and secure retirement.

A country where if you put in, you get out

A Britain everyone is proud to call home

And real long term plan to get there"

The delivery of his Crosby inspired speech goes from strength to strength:

"What I call: full employment in Britain. Just think what that would mean:

"Those who can work, able to work......standing on their own two feet, looking at their children and thinking - I am providing for you.

We can get there - but only if we stick to our plan".

After almost five years of austerity and increasing taxes, Cameron is promising to:

"..balance the books by 2018, and start putting aside money for the future".

With echoes of his cast iron guarantee of an EU referendum, Cameron sums up this section thus:

"So here is our commitment to the British people:

No income tax if you are on minimum wage.

A twelve and a half thousand pound personal allowance for millions of hard working people

And you only pay 40p tax when you earn fifty thousand pounds.

With the Conservatives, if you work hard and do the right thing we say you should keep more of your own money to spend as you choose".

These particular policies have been unashamedly stolen from the UKIP manifesto in the mistaken belief that stealing some of their clothes will hide who they really are. It truly is desperate stuff.

I will leave it to the reader to continue with the remaining pages of this soundbite and slogan riddled nonsense. It was designed not to tell the truth but to give the impression that David Cameron actually cares about the British people or their hopes and aspirations with a view to securing his re-election.

He has devoted his political life to implementing the EU driven agenda and in that he is single minded, it is his absolute priority.

He has never listened to the British people and he has no intention of listening to them any time soon. He strongly believes that if he delivers a media orientated speech loaded with false promises, soundbites and slogans he can hoodwink the British people into electing him as their Prime Minister.

They do so at their peril. If they fall for his play acting they will lose their country to the EU bureaucrats once and for all.
    



 

Johnny Rotten - Sex Pistols Punk Rocker Shows Some Class During Thatcher Hatefest

Not many people would have guessed that the battered image of a degraded nation, a nation where 'progressive' ignoramuses celebrate the death of one of its greatest heroines, could be partially restored by a punk rocker.

John Lydon, better known as Johnny Rotten, the front man for punk rock pioneers the Sex Pistols, was better known for his spitting, snarling delivery of anti-establishment lyrics than a common sense and articulate rebuttal of the atrocious behavior displayed by the 'progressive' establishment, including the Labour Party, the Trade Unions and the BBC.

"I was her enemy in life but I won't be her enemy in death. What kind of politics are they offering me? You dance on another persons grave? That's loathsome."

That statement by John Lydon is brief, classy, well written and to the point. It articulates what the majority of decent people, from all sides of the political spectrum, think.

It was refreshing to see such a high profile anti-establishment icon such as John Lydon show manners and good grace, which put to shame the ungracious, ignorant imbeciles that masquerade as politicians and who demonstrate the intolerance which is normally associated with the Student Union bars at Britain's Marxist infested universities.

It is a sad state of affairs and a clear demonstration of how low a great nation has sunk when an ageing punk rocker has to make up for the disgusting behavior of people who should be setting an example to the next generation.

John Lydon's words are in clear contrast to the bile filled rant of the appalling, washed up former actress Glenda Jackson, who's ignorance and undignified appearance was on display in the Mother of Parliaments for whole world to see.

His words are also in contrast to the vile outpourings attributed to other self loathers of the 'progressive' left who preach tolerence but vilify and demonise anyone who does not share their perverted point of view.

Those people who remember seeing the Iron Lady in action would have watched Glenda Jackson's pathetic uninformed poisonous diatribe and be happy in the knowledge that Margaret Thatcher would have wiped the floor with her both intellectually and politically.

She would also have had the self respect and dignity to turn up in Parliament immaculately turned out, rather than turn up dressed like meth soaked vagrant, especially when the eyes of the world were watching.

Although I have never paid any attention to Johnny Rotten in the past, he has gone up in my estimation for his timely and graceful intervention which, if past form is anything to go by, will bring opprobrium and abuse down on his head from the usual intolerant mob that have the gall to call themselves 'progressive'.

Glenda Jackson - Washed Up Actress Joins The Thatcher Hatefest

With the reputation of 'Great' Britain slipping ever deeper into the mire over the vitriolic abuse hurled at the recently departed Margaret Thatcher, one is entitled to expect that the Mother of Parliaments would at least show a little dignity and respect.

As the world's media digested the disgusting scenes of unwashed yobs celebrating her passing with street parties, there are now threats by various 'progressive' groups to disrupt her funeral with rioting and other anti-social behavior. These threats should have galvanised 'Great' Britain's leadership to demonstrate that these are the actions of an uncivilised minority.

A demonstration of British decency was made even more imperative when the state broadcaster kept giving a platform for every extreme anti-Thatcher nutter they could dig up. The BBC gave the oxygen of publicity to the vilest of reptiles that slither on the political scene, including:

George Galloway, the Saddam Hussein supporting champagne socialist, who hates 'Great' Britain and lends his support to any Muslim radical cause that he can squeeze a vote from.

Red Ken Livingstone, communist ex Mayor of London, anti-Semite and tax avoider. Another supporter of radical Islam who demonstrated his class by assaulting his pregnant girlfriend for daring to smoke.

Peter Tatchel, Britain's most high profile homosexual activist and former Labour Party parliamentary candidate. The paedophile's friend, who campaigns for lowering the age of consent for sexual relations with teenagers.

Gerry Adams, the IRA terrorist leader, who's gang failed to kill Mrs Thatcher but managed to kill and maim innocent bystanders in the attempt.

It was left to 'Great' Britain's Parliamentarians to rescue the countries' battered reputation before the eyes of a disbelieving world.

Parliament was recalled from its Easter holiday to pay tribute to Great Britain's first woman Prime Minister, the Iron Lady who rescued the country from a Labour induced economic disaster and who put the British people on the road to freedom and prosperity.

Anyone who was expecting a respectful occasion would be disappointed. Many on the 'progressive' Labour side didn't even have the decency to turn up, revealing lines of empty benches for the world to see.

To make matters infinitely worse, the former actress and champagne socialist, Glenda Jackson, debased the occasion by unleashing her bile and personal animosity at a woman who's handbag she is not fit to polish.

The bitter and twisted Jackson appeared to blame all of today's ills on Mrs Thatcher despite the fact that the Iron Lady has been out of office for over twenty years and Jackson's Labour Party had just enjoyed thirteen years of unfettered power.

During her hateful attack, Jackson had the nerve to question Mrs Thatcher's 'womanliness'. As the photographs clearly show, Mrs Thatcher retained her dignity at all times and was immaculately turned out even when her health had deteriorated.

Contrast this with the washed up, boozed out, scruffy old hag who appeared before the cameras in the House of Commons yesterday, for the whole world to see.

Glenda Jackson's attack on the deceased Mrs Thatcher sullied what was supposed to be a dignified occasion, organised to pay tribute to a former Prime Minister who had served her country and saved the nation from economic collapse and a bleak socialist future.

Glenda Jackson is an utter disgrace and a national embarrassment; she has brought further shame on the Mother of Parliaments and the British people.

She should do her constituents and the country a favour by resigning forthwith and removing her disgusting unkempt person from the public eye.

The Iron Lady v Plastic PR Men And The Hate Filled Left

It cannot be denied that since Margaret Thatcher was deposed as Prime Minister, the trajectory of 'Great' Britain has been ever downward. History, as always, will be written by the left therefore she will be portrayed as an uncaring tyrant who preferred selfish individualism and greed over collectivism and so called social 'justice'.

What will be written out of history is the fact that she was a unifying force who was elected to office three consecutive times with the support of all classes, including the working class and trade unionists.

It is now universally accepted that 'Great' Britain's state propaganda service, otherwise known as the BBC, is hopelessly biased toward the left and it is committed to furthering the 'progressive' agenda. This organisation despised Margaret Thatcher and all that she represented, with a passion, and it never missed an opportunity to portray her in a negative light.

Looking at the BBC coverage since her passing, that hatred continues to this day unchallenged by the empty suits that run the BBC. This includes Chris Patten, Chairman of the Executive Board or the Prime Minister  'Call Me Dave' Cameron who are both high ranking members of the conservative establishment.

The appearance on the BBC of terrorist Gerry Adams, who's organisation failed in their attempt to murder her but killed and maimed some of her colleagues and friends, was particularly loathsome.

Television footage of people celebrating the passing of 'Great' Britain's first woman Prime Minister, and the public comments from some people who should know better, has caused shock waves around the civilised world. It has also brought shame on the British people for stooping so low.

Foreign news commentators are expressing their amazement and disgust that the woman who took on the male political establishment and rescued the British economy from Labour party bankruptcy, then went on to save the country from a dismal socialist future, can be so publicly vilified.

Informed commentators see this vilification as an indication of how far 'Great' Britain has sunk into the 'progressive' sewer of intolerance and hatred for anyone who, from humble beginnings, refuse to accept mediocrity and choose to better themselves with hard work and dedication.

Informed Americans are taking this appalling behavior as a warning of what will happen to their country if their 'Progressive' in Chief follows the same course of action that the British political establishment did after they deposed Mrs Thatcher.

The ignoramuses that were shown celebrating with champagne on the streets of London did not look like they were born when Mrs Thatcher left office, this serves as an indication of the 'progressive' capacity for hatred and their ability to pass it on from generation to generation.

When Mrs Thatcher began her rise to power, 'Great' Britain was governed by the communist run Trade Union movement together with their puppets in the Labour Party. The British economy was dominated by the inefficient nationalised industries which drained the economy of life, resulting in bankruptcy and the humiliating grovel to the IMF for loans.

Endless strikes and disruption resulted in the three day working week together with transportation disruptions, power cuts, mountains of rat infested rubbish heaps in the streets and the dead left unburied. The once 'Great' Britain was justifiably known as 'The 'Sick Man of Europe'.

Whatever history is written or whatever spin the BBC spews forth, the truth should not be denied that Mrs Thatcher reversed this decline by curbing union power, selling off the inefficient nationalised industries, cutting government spending, cutting regulations, cutting taxes and above all liberating millions of people by extending home and share ownership.

On the global stage Mrs Thatcher was a colossus who, together with that other freedom loving patriot, Ronald Reagan, freed tens of millions of people from the blood soaked yoke of communism, ending the cold war in the process.

Mrs Thatcher dominated the European Union scene and put the bureaucrats' dream of a post democratic federal superstate, back decades. For this the EU bureaucrat's hatred of the Iron Lady endures with venom to this day.

Her battles on behalf of the people raised their awareness of the continual failure of socialism to deliver economic prosperity to the masses together with the fact that it always ends in bankruptcy, authoritarianism and tears.

It was her battles with the European Union that initiated her downfall. This treachery was performed by some of the biggest weasels ever to foul the benches of Parliament. These spineless cowards will go down in history as the guilty men who deposed the Prime Minister after she saved their country from its death spiral and to whom they owed their miserable careers.

Michael Heseltine, Geoffrey Howe, John Major et al., all now Peers of the Realm thanks to Mrs Thatcher.  They know what they did and they should hold their heads in shame.

These three, and their other fellow traitors, paved the way for Phony Tony Blair's 'New' Labour years of destruction, from which it is highly unlikely the country will recover. These men, who rode to power on the coat tails of the Iron Lady, stabbed her in the back and consigned their fellow countrymen to poverty and despair in the process.

The current crop of British politicians are nothing but Public Relations phony's who have been schooled in the art of media management and lying.

How can anyone possibly compare the Iron Lady with plastic PR men like David Cameron, Ed Miliband or Nick Clegg? All three of these phony's roll over at the slightest whim from the unelected Eurocrats who are ruining the lives of the people they should be representing.

Can anyone imagine the Iron Lady being publicly chastised by Swedish Prime Minister Fredrick Reinfeldt or Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, and letting them get away with it?

'Call Me Dave' is now held in such contempt that he is even being publicly humiliated by Laszio Andor, an unelected European Commissioner who is also head of the Hungarian Socialist Party, for trying to appease the British people ahead of the Romanian/Bulgarian migration disaster.

One other gaggle of gutless empty suits also displayed their contempt for Mrs Thatcher and her anti-socialist companion Ronald Reagan. Despite bringing about the downfall of the communist system that had imprisoned and impoverished tens of millions of people in the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, and also bringing an end to the cold war which could potentially have killed millions, they were studiously ignored.  The Nobel Peace Prize committee have found reasons to award their degraded prize to undeserving people such as:

International terrorist Yasser Arafat.

The socialist International Labour Organisation.

Socialist incompetent and terrorist supporter Jimmy Carter, the worst President in US history.

The utterly useless Kofi Anan of the UN, who failed to stop wars or genocide during his entire sorry tenure as Secretary General.

The International Panel on Climate Change, purveyors of the biggest scam in international history which is causing the death of millions by misallocating resources and by pushing vulnerable people into energy poverty.

President Barack Obama, after only a few months in office. The same Obama who participated in two wars with a possible third in Syria. Who participates in gun running via Turkey, who supports the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists and who has a drone programme which kills people with out due process.

Finally, The European Union. This award is just so incomprehensible that it boggles the mind and renders the prize worthless.

The political pygmies of today cannot be spoken of in the same breath as Mrs Thatcher, Great Britain's Iron Lady, who's love of country and legacy of individual liberty and prosperity is being squandered on the alter of 'progressivism' never to be seen again.

Millioniares, Billionaires, Deficits and Debt. The Mendacity Of The Political Class

Listening to the political class making excuses about the sad state of the European and American economies one gets the impression that it was some mysterious force of nature that caused the lack of growth, the debt mountains and the subsequent austerity.

If the Greek politicians are to be believed then hard left socialist Prime Minister George Papandreou and his colleagues had no idea that they were spending billions more than the country collected in revenue wracking up unsustainable debts in the process.

Because of their incompetence Greece is now insolvent, impoverished and Papandreou has been removed from office in a European Union coup and replaced by a Gauleiter.

Career politician and Irish Prime Minister ( Taoiseach ) Brian 'Biffo' Cowen obviously had no idea that an unfunded 9% increase in spending in his first budget would increase the national debt or that decreasing taxes in his second budget would have a similar non effect on the national debt.

In a typical act of political populism that has become so familiar of late, Biffo Cowen increased taxes on 'millionaires', a species of which Ireland is not over endowed, supposedly to help fund this largess.

Biffo Cowen's third budget, his pre-election budget, was described as the largest spending spree in the history of the Irish state.

In a cynical attempt to buy votes regardless of the disastrous effect on the economy, Biffo Cowen increased pensions, entitlements and social welfare allowances and he even gave a tax break to the previously demonised 'millionaires'. 

To Biffo Cowen's undoubted shock and surprise the Irish economy collapsed under the weight of his debt and as was the case with Greece, Ireland is now insolvent and impoverished, democracy has been suspended and the country is now being run by the European Union.

We are also being led to believe that Berlisconi and the politicians of Italy, likewise Aznar Lopez and Zapatero of Spain together with Barroso and de Sousa of Portugal were totally unaware that their economic policy of spending billions more than they collected in revenue would lead to unsustainable debts, insolvency and financial collapse.

In Great Britain former Prime Minister and now universally acknowledged sociopath Gordon Brown absolved himself and his henchman, the odious political thug Ed Balls, of any blame for the current economic disaster by claiming that it all started in America.

Brown and Balls conveniently ignore the fact that it was their deliberate actions in office that expanded the already bloated public sector at the top of the economic cycle without the resources to pay for it and by increasing entitlements, borrowing and debt on such a massive scale they left the country vulnerable in the face of the recession that everybody except those two incompetents knew was coming.

These two economic geniuses auctioned off half of Great Britain's gold reserves at the bottom of the market and by announcing the sale in advance they cost the British taxpayers between 8 and 10 billion pounds.

Brown and Balls introduced over one hundred new taxes, mostly by stealth, destroying the best pension schemes in Europe in the process. They signed up to the European Union Constitution/Lisbon Treaty while at the same time they managed to negotiate away Great Britain's contribution rebate while getting nothing in return costing the taxpayers some seven billion per year.

For social engineering purposes and in an act of wanton destruction they opened up the borders to unlimited immigration which put an unbearable strain on the social infrastructure such as housing, schools and health care, the cost of which is incalculable.

The current abysmal state of the British economy and the suffering of the people can be laid squarely at the door of these two incompetents and the thirteen years of the Labour Party's socialist economic meddling.

In the USA President Obama is blaming former President Bush for their economic woes ignoring the fact that it was Clinton and his Democrat bag carriers Dodds and Frank that forced the banks together with Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac to give loans and mortgages to people who had no prospect of paying them back.

It was President Obama who increased spending and accumulated more debt in his first term than all the other Presidents since George Washington combined. President Obama tries to blame Congress but for the first two years of his presidency the Democrats controlled all three branches of government and in the second two years they controlled the White House and the Senate.

In addition to the massive tax increases needed to finance socialised medicine (Obamacare), the American economy is about to go over the fiscal cliff which will trigger even more tax increases and automatic mandatory spending cuts.

Unbelievably, in response to this crisis, Obama and the Democrats are asking for trillions more in tax hikes and spending increases with no plans for entitlement reform or any spending cuts whatsoever. They also want the removal of the debt limit giving them unlimited spending authority. Needless to say this will be a disaster and not only for America but for the world economy at large.

All these politicians from across the world have several things in common, they all describe themselves as 'progressives', which translated into every day language means that they all believe the state can mandate equality and fairness by confiscating the wealth of their people and redistributing it as they see fit.

In addition to being 'progressives' they are all accomplished spinners, sophists and liars. The latest line of spin is that millionaires and billionaires are not paying their fair share.

In Great Britain the current leader of the socialist Labour Party who took over when the lunatic Gordon Brown was kicked out is Red Ed Miliband, a member of the notorious North London Marxist family.

Like Obama he is spinning that the 'rich' are not paying their fair share despite the fact that when he was in government the top rate of income tax was 40%. In an act of pure cynical political manoeuvring and regardless of the negative effect on the economy they raised it to 50%  just weeks before they were removed from office.

As predicted after this raise in the rate the number of people registering income of 1 million dropped by over 50% costing the Treasury tens of millions in lost revenue.

As planned, Red Ed and his socialist cronies are spinning that the present government favours millionaires because they lowered the top limit from 50% to 45% and increasing revenue in the process.

In basket case France their newly elected socialist President Hollande has raised the top rate for millionaires and billionaires to 75% triggering a predictable exodus of talent and job creators increasing the deficit and adding to the national debt.

Like all socialists the political elite demonise the 'rich' which in the USA is now anyone making $250,000 or more. In Great Britain anyone earning $67,000 or more will qualify for the 40% income tax rate and when the National Insurance Contributions are deducted a staggering 52% of a workers salary is confiscated by the government at source.

'Progressive' politicians like to use the false scale of Relative Poverty as a measure for poverty and inequality. In the not too distant future anyone earning over the minimum wage will replace the extinct millionaires and billionaires and they will be made to pay the top rate to ensure they are paying their 'fair share' to the government so that they in turn can provide the services 'upon which we all depend '.

This new worldwide crop of professional career politicians all refuse to cut government spending, they all indulge in tax, spend, borrow and debt. When the ready cash runs out they just print some more and call it quantitative easing. They are driven by their ideology so the don't know any other way.

Their ultimate goal is a society free from inequality and injustice as they see it and as a consequence it will be a society where individual liberty is replaced by subservience to the state.

 If this perfect state is to be achieved then there will have to be a levelling down instead of levelling up therefore there will be no place for millionaires and billionaires or anyone making over $67,000 per year and what we are seeing now is the beginning of the end for private wealth.

In the words of the Iron Lady in response to the pathetic Simon Hughes MP when he bleated on about inequality during her Premiership:

"All sections of society are better off ( under her government ) the Honourable Gentleman would rather see the poor poorer just so long as the rich are less rich"
