Great Britain Is On The Brink Of A Communist Disaster

History shows us that politics periodically undergoes  a re-alignment where the pendulum swings from one side of the political spectrum to the other. What it also shows is that the pendulum is on a ratchet which prevents it from swinging back to its original starting point but to a new starting point much further to the left.

This is certainly the case in Great Britain where the pendulum has ratcheted so far to the left that Jeremy Corbyn, a life-long communist, has seized control of the Labour Party along with his cadre of fellow revolutionaries.

This coup makes Corbyn the leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition in Parliament and who, according to latest opinion polls, will become the Prime Minister of Great Britain should there be a general election any time soon.

A career politician Jeremy Corbyn has never wavered in his belief that capitalism will be overthrown and replaced by a dictatorship of the proletariat as ordained by his ideological mentor, Karl Marx.

Not even the myriad of examples of human tragedies around the world caused by this perverted ideology will shake his belief or give him pause for thought for its hundreds of millions of victims.

Corbyn’s Comrade No1 is the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, John McDonnell, who always denied his devotion to communism until he was caught on video proclaiming his fealty to Karl Marx to a closed group of functionaries along with his life-long dedication to the overthrow of capitalism.

As Chancellor of the Exchequer he would finally have the power to fulfill his life’s ambition and such is his confidence of his own veracity he has published his economic plan for all to see. It’s standard Marxist economics which has proved so disastrous across the planet from China to Zimbabwe and a host of other unfortunate countries in between.

He plans the nationalization of key industries without proper compensation together with a tax, spend, borrow and debt policy on steroids with government supplied free stuff for everyone.

This includes the usual list of items that socialist wet dreams are made of:

Free healthcare

Free education for everyone from pre-school to pensioner including college and university

Cancellation of student debt

Free/subsidized municipal housing

A national living wage for everyone

Increased public sector pay

Increased welfare benefits

Expanded government

Expanded entitlements which will create more dependency and a bigger captive voter base.

It’s worth noting that McDonnell is on record as saying that “democracy doesn’t work for us” so increasing the voter base is a temporary measure to secure power before elections are reduced to a cosmetic exercise or abolished altogether. This diehard communist actually quoted from Mao Zedong's Red Book during a debate in Parliament.

To add to the misery of this impending economic disaster Corbyn and his comrades plan to instigate a social and cultural revolution by opening the borders even further than they are now to mass immigration from the third world with no limit on the numbers.

It’s also worth noting that this social and cultural revolution is as much to do with their visceral hatred of Great Britain, along with its people, its heritage and its way of life as it has to do with their devotion to a dictatorship of the proletariat.

Apart from massive borrowing, McDonnell and the government plan to pay for this largess in the time honored communist manner, i.e. taxing the co-called rich to the hilt and increasing the tax on corporations and businesses across the economy.

No communists worth their salt could possibly ignore their impulse to indulge in class warfare therefore inheritance tax will be raised to confiscatory levels which will effectively abolish private property.

Jeremy Corbyn’s Comrade No 2 is his Shadow Home Secretary, an ideological soulmate and former lover named Dianne Abbott. Notorious for her lack of intellectual prowess and being numerically illiterate, Abbott is a self-described ‘Afro-Caribbean’, as well as an anti-white racist and fellow communist.

She is on record as saying that she is ashamed to be British but like all socialist bloviators she has shown no inclination to find a more suitable country and leave.

Such is the dedication of comrades Corbyn and Abbott to communism, their idea of a lovers vacation was touring East Germany by motorcycle at the height of the Cold War.

The fact that tens of thousands of people were being arrested and tortured by the all-pervasive East German secret police, the Stasi, and hundreds more died trying to escape to West Germany was of no concern to the happy vacationers.

Like communists the world over, the tortured and the murdered are acceptable collateral damage to Jeremy Corbyn and his comrades in the Labour Party. They obviously consider the murder and oppression of hundreds of millions of people since 1917 to be a price worth paying for the greater good which to them is a communist dictatorship along the lines of the old East Germany and latterly Venezuela.

In a warning to the British people of what’s in store for them if and when this gang of communists should ever get their hands on the levers of power. All three of these ideologues, and it must be assumed the rest of the Labour Party, were high profile supporters of the Hugo Chavez revolution in Venezuela.

They openly celebrated his victory and lectured the British people on the merits of the Chavez revolution along with the benefits it will bring not only to Venezuela but to the rest of South America and the world at large.

They steadfastly refuse to this day to criticize the brutal Chavez/Maduro regime or acknowledge the disastrous consequences of communism for the people of Venezuela.

In a further and more sinister warning which the British people should take heed is another member of the Corbyn clique, the former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone. Publicly they keep this lunatic at arm’s length but covertly accept him as an ideological soul-mate and comrade.

Livingstone is a nasty piece of work if ever there was one; he is an unadulterated and very vocal communist ideologue, a Great Britain and Israel hater as well as a vile anti-Semite. He makes no secret of why he believes the Chavez revolution failed in Venezuela.

Livingstone maintains that Hugo Chavez made the mistake of not following the standard communist revolutionary practice off rounding up and eliminating the country’s elite after usurping power.

For those who are unfamiliar with the post-revolution practice as advocated by Ken Livingstone please note:

The first task after the usurpation of power is to round up and murder the leaders of all organizations that oppose the regime; the second task is to intimidate, arrest, imprison and torture any other opponents, no matter how minor, who raise a voice of dissent.

This practice is well documented and should be compulsory reading for all school children and those that support socialists and communists in the western democracies.

They should be made to study the post-revolutionary actions of Lenin and Stalin in Russia, Mao Zedong in China, Fidel Castro in Cuba, Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe and the creator of the killing fields, Pol Pot in Cambodia along with all the other mass murderers who believe that communism is the ideal and only economic system for their countries and the world.

The reasons why the British people, who fought over the centuries for the freedoms and liberty they enjoy today, and who made such a massive contribution to global civilization, are embracing such an oppressive freedom crushing ideology is open to debate.

There are however three reasons that are immediately apparent.

Firstly, the inability of younger generations to assimilate and analyze information then form an independent opinion. This inability to think for themselves has left them vulnerable to propaganda whereby their opinions are formed for them by slanted information disseminated by the agenda driven political elite.

This implanting of a single worldview is a classic description of ‘groupthink’ as used by Big Brother in George Orwell’s apocalyptic novel 1984 about a future socialist tyranny.

Secondly, the mainstream media, led by the taxpayer funded state broadcaster universally known as the BBC, are the purveyors of state propaganda which churns out its ‘progressive’ world view 24/7 through all its outlets including radio. This not only includes news and current affairs but all its viewing and listening programs including so-called light entertainment.

Thirdly, the lack of effective opposition in Parliament and the country at large to the onward march of socialism. The Conservative and Liberal Parties used to be the guardians of British values such as individual liberty, free enterprise, law and order, patriotism etc.  but even they have caught the globalist disease of ‘progressivism’ and its call for an egalitarian, borderless world in a post democratic age.

To conclude: In their government induced slumber and their ignorance of history, far too many British people have yet to grasp that they are one general election away from losing everything their ancestors fought and died for.

This includes their liberty, their prosperity, their culture, their heritage and their centuries old way of life.

It was British journalist and author George Orwell who in his 1937 book The Road To Wigan Pier, took the view that upper class or bourgeoise socialists were soggy sentimentalists who were all for a classless society so long as they see the proletariat through the wrong end of the telescope; force them into any real contact with the proletariat and they retreat back into their inherent patronizing snobbishness.

Admire him or not he was prophetic as his other novels Animal Farm and 1984 attest. The worst kind of socialist in Orwell's mind was the trade union leader or labour representative who was elected into office to look after the interests and well being of his fellow workers only to join the class they have sworn an oath to fight, then go on to adopt their mannerisms and way of life.

This is certainly true in the case of the British Labour Party, many of whom swore by all that was holy that they would never sit with the upper class and the aristocracy in the hated House of Lords.

This institution is the upper chamber of British legislature which was once exclusively populated by Lords Temporal and Lords Spiritual; in other words hereditary Peers and Bishops. It was regarded by socialists and others as the bastion of Great Britain's class based society with its unearned privilege, patronage, inequality and injustice.

Considered to be an affront to democracy there were calls for the House of Lords to be elected in order to correct this democratic deficit or better still, abolished altogether. Politicians being the charlatans that they are chose to reform the chamber by phasing out hereditary Peers replacing them with appointed Life Peers. The Bishops and a rump of hereditary Peers were to remain for the time being.

This opened the door to corruption on a massive scale with Peerages being sold for hard cash and in return for favours, services rendered and party donations.

Appointments to the House of Lords are for life therefore they cannot be removed by the people using a democratic electoral process. These corruptocrats get a daily allowance of $390 per day just for crossing the threshold plus other expenses. They also enjoy taxpayer subsidised bars and restaurants until they shuffle off their mortal coils and climb aboard the great gravy train in the sky.

No self respecting socialist would have been seen dead in this place but a taxpayer funded sinecure with its rank and privileges far away from the great unwashed outweighs any socialist principles they once claimed to hold dear.

The following is a gallery of some of the worst hypocrites in the British Labour Party who wallowed in their socialist principles while it suited them then abandoned the working class for the aristocracy when they were of no further use.

Neil Kinnock, otherwise known as the Welsh Windbag, he is quoted as saying "The House of Lords must go - not be reformed, not be replaced, not be reformed in some nominated life-after-death patronage paradise, just closed down, abolished, finished". He was elected to represent the poor working class constituency of Bedwellty then Islwyn in South East Wales. A noted bloviator with few or no accomplishments he went on to become leader of the Labour Party where he was roundly defeated by Mrs. Thatcher not once but twice. The epitome of patronage, nepotism and corruption he spent 25 years as an MP, another 4 years as an EU Commissioner, 5 more years as the EU Commissioner for Admin Reform before being appointed to the House of Lords for life. This member of the new aristocracy labours under the title of Baron Kinnock of Bedwellty in the County of Gwent.

Michael Martin, otherwise known as 'Gorbals Mick' after a working class area of his native Glasgow. Martin was a trade unionist and Labour councillor before entering Parliament where he was eventually appointed Speaker of the House of Commons. This supposedly neutral Speaker was hopelessly biased and was forced to resign after being involved in an expenses scandal which cheated the taxpayer of the fruits of their labour. After 26 years as an Member of Parliament Gorbals Mick was 'elevated' to the new aristocracy in 2009 where he labours under the title of Baron Martin of Springburn in the City of Glasgow.

Alistair Darling, referred to as 'that bearded Trot' by the aforementioned Neil Kinnock.  Darling was a fully paid up member of the Loony Left and a supporter of the International Marxist Group. Privately educated, Darling was elected to the far-left Lothian Regional Council in Scotland in 1982 before entering Parliament in 1987. He reached the dizzy heights of Chancellor of the Exchequer before standing down after 28 years. This champagne socialist was 'elevated' to the new aristocracy in 2015 where he labours under the title of Baron Darling of Roulanish, Great Bernera in the County of Ross and Cromarty.

John Prescott, an ill tempered bruiser who started his political career as a trade union activist while working as a steward on cruise liners. He was elected to Parliament in 1970 and attained the position of Deputy Prime Minister to Tony Blair. Regarded as the representative of the working class and trade unionists in Tony Blair's reformed New Labour movement which saw the party move to the right. Prescott made himself a laughing stock when he admitted an affair with his diary secretary Tracy Temple who likened his tackle to a chipolata. After 40 years as a Member of Parliament he was 'elevated' to the new aristocracy in June 2010 and labours under the title of  Baron Prescott of Kingston upon Hull in the County of East Yorkshire.

Peter Mandelson, a self-serving, odious piece of work if ever there was one. This former member of the Young Communist League is competing with his former leader Tony Blair as the most obnoxious and hated figure in British political history. The original spin doctor and media manipulator, this charlatan along with Blair and others is responsible for dragging British politics and public life further down into the sewer from where it is yet to emerge. For some reason unknown to mankind Mandelson was handed immense power throughout his political career despite having to resign from the government twice due to accusations of corruption. After a controversial twelve year Parliamentary career he was appointed EU Commissioner for Trade where he made numerous contacts in the dodgy global business world including Russian oligarchs and other East European tyrants. This 'former' communist who loves the trappings of wealth and power was 'elevated' to the House of Lords in 2008 and labours under the very grandiose title of Lord Mandelson of Foy in the County Hereforshire and of Hartlepool in the County of Durham.

In the interests of diversity, inclusion, gender equality, multiculturalism and community cohesion we have Manzila Pola Uddin. A British documented Bangladeshi who's career as a community activist and politician has been mired in controversy and corruption throughout. Despite being as corrupt as any African kleptocrat, Manzila Uddin's gender, skin colour, religion and ethnicity made her the darling of the Labour Party and the 'progressive' multi-culti industry. Ignoring the fact that she robbed the taxpayer upward of some $200,000 by lying and cheating she remains in the Legislature to this day. She swindled the taxpayer by claiming her primary residence was an empty property she owned outside the designated residential area that entitles her to claim expenses and allowances. She actually lived in an a property close to Westminster which precluded these claims. By sheer coincidence she had a mansion built in her native Bangladesh to the value of approximately $200,000. Attempts by the Labour Party to get her elected to the House of Commons were unsuccessful so they appointed  her to the House of Lords instead where she labours under the title of Baroness Uddin of Bethnal Green in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.  

He has not been 'elevated' to the House of Lords just yet because this creature still harbours an ambition to lead the European Union as President. Former Prime Minister Tony Blair who famously declared to Labour Party icon and former leader, Michael Foot, that he came to socialism via Marxism used the contacts he made while in office to accumulate a personal fortune as opposed to alleviating the condition of the poor and downtrodden working class he claimed to champion. A narcissist of the very highest order this incarnation of pure evil is considered by many to be a war criminal after lying in order to lead Great Britain into an illegal war with Iraq. Apart from adding to his personal fortune Blair now spends his time and energy attempting to reverse the result of the Brexit referendum and keep Great Britain shackled to the failing and corrupt European Union he hopes one day to lead. Tony Blair is the ultimate champagne socialist and the final chapter of his treachery as yet to be written so this one will keep running for some time yet.

Socialist Theft - Confiscate Inheritances To Fund The Welfare State

Socialists never cease to amaze with their ability to remain committed to their perverted ideology despite the evidence of its failure unfolding before their eyes. From Venezuela to Zimbabwe, from North Korea to Angola, socialism has only ever succeeded in bringing national bankruptcy, poverty and eventually bloody repression.

It never ceases to amaze either that supposedly intelligent, well educated people are so dedicated to their ideology they are blind to natural human instincts particularly with regards to families, children and the freedom to do as they please with the hard earned fruits of their labour.

A columnist for The Guardian newspaper, Abi Wilkinson, is one such ideologue who has suggested a 100% Inheritance Tax to fund the welfare state which has witnessed a deliberately engineered increase in dependency, along with rampant waste, fraud and abuse.

The appetite of the welfare state for ever increasing sums of money to fund its vote gathering operations will never be satiated even after the last drop of blood has been sucked from the taxpayer.

Like all socialists this Guardianista has endowed the welfare state with divine status as a pretense to confiscate the private wealth of individuals for redistribution in line with her ideology while ignoring the Venezuelan type disaster this will engender. (See here)

It's irrelevant to Ms. Wilkinson and her comrades that any assets and savings belonging to the long suffering British people have been accumulated after the government has subjected them to penal levels of taxation throughout their lives.

It would appear that being a slave of the government for 20 years to pay one's taxes isn't enough, they want the rest as well to finance their vote harvesting operation. (See here and here)

If the waste, fraud and abuse were tackled and eliminated there could be room for a tax cut as opposed to confiscating the life savings and property of private citizens who made the right decisions throughout their lives and saved for their retirement and their children's future.

Cutting the welfare budget, or any government spending for that matter, would be inconceivable to the likes of Ms. Wilkinson who would prefer the abuses to continue as opposed to shrinking the budget and returning the money to those who earned it in the first place.

One of the greatest fears of the socialist/communist/liberal community and the political class is working people being prosperous to the point where they are financially independent of government.

This independence would rob them of their reason to exist making them irrelevant and without the power to lord it over others. It would also rob them of a very lucrative career in 'public service'.

Thus the political establishment and its agents do everything in their power to prevent working people getting ahead by using penal levels of taxation and increased dependency on government.

Like other government run programs the welfare state has been changed from a safety net into a taxpayer funded free for all for fraudsters, cheats and politicians who use it as a political football at election times in order to secure votes by bribery and thus retaining their seats on the gravy train.

In the meantime millions of genuine claimants find it increasingly difficult to get past the complex bureaucracy to get a timely adjudication and much needed relief from their desperate situations.

To illustrate the point there follows a few examples of the waste, fraud and abuse that Ms. Wilkinson and her ilk want financed by the confiscation of people's assets and life savings.

Shukri Yusuf had no such difficulty getting past the complex bureaucracy to defraud the taxpayer by posing as a single mother to claim $127k. She committed this fraud to fund her children's private schooling. (See here).

(This raises the question of real single mothers being funded to the tune of $127k but I digress)

Mother of four, Rejiya Mukith, had no such difficulty either when  fraudulently obtaining some $44k to move to a more affluent location with better schools for her children. (See here)

Kurdish illegal immigrant, Kerim Koroglu, who smuggled himself into Great Britain on the back of a truck had no difficulty swindling $40k. (See here)

These individual cases of fraud and abuse are small examples of a massive industry which is costing the taxpayer anywhere between $6 and $12.5 billion.(See here)

The welfare benefits bill for London alone is a staggering $45 billion which is bigger than the whole defence budget. (See here)

Waste, fraud and abuse, along with twisted priorities, are the hallmarks of most government departments and there doesn't appear to be any serious attempt to tackle the problem and restore some integrity to their obviously flawed systems.

With a minimum of research it's relatively easy to highlight the flaws in the system and point them out in an article such as this. It's also relatively easy find some solutions to tackle them and give the abused taxpayers a break.

Foreign students are absconding at the end of their courses without repaying their student loans. Why are British taxpayers funding foreign students and not their own governments? Stop funding loans for foreign students. (See here)

The Kurdish illegal immigrant mentioned above had been in the country for six years after being refused asylum. Deport all those who have been refused asylum.

People are coming from abroad in their droves to use the National Health Service (NHS) then returning home without settling their bills. Before treatment is administered, evidence of insurance should be mandatory or payment up front.

Open border mass immigration is costing the taxpayer some $21 billion. Much of this is from non-EU countries over which the British government has control. Until Brexit is finalised there should be a moratorium on non-EU immigration with a points based system thereafter. (See here)

Nobody should ever be accepted into the country without any means of support to enjoy a life on welfare benefits financed by the British taxpayer.

Suggestions such as these are practical for any government that have the interests and wellbeing of the British people in mind and the political will to implement them.

They are also the kind of common sense suggestions that would cause the heads of Abi Wilkinson and her comrades from the socialist/communist/liberal community to explode in a shower of  red flags and mushroom fertilizer.

As the Presidential campaign in the USA enters the final furlong with the winning post in sight the American people will have to decide on a new leader after being subjected to an eighteen month torrent of lies and half truths, claims and counter claims along with personal insults of unprecedented ferocity.

When all is said and done the choice they will have on election day is stark and crystal clear. Do they want to continue with the American dream of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness in a free enterprise system with constitutionally limited government or the nightmare of a downgraded, mediocre backwater ruled permanently by big government tax and spend socialists dedicated to the UN globalists agenda?

To help the American people decide, and to dispel any accusations of exaggeration, I would encourage them to take note of the latest developments from Great Britain concerning the Labour Party and it's vision for the future. I would also encourage them to note the comparison with the Clinton/Obama Democrat agenda and their vision for the future of the USA.

The Labour Party are the second largest party in the Westminster parliament and consequently in a very powerful position that, depending on the performance of the current administration, could very well form the next government of Great Britain.

This once noble and well intentioned political party always considered itself to be a broad church encompassing all shades of opinion from the centre ground to the far-left. After a silent and meticulously planned coup by the far-left this is no longer the case.

Some of the party faithful along with planted extremists from the far-left have elected the life long communist Jeremy Corbyn as it's new leader who in turn has installed a fellow communist, Jim McDonnell as his Shadow Chancellor. Both these men are ideological disciples of Marx, Lenin and Chairman Mao but they are pale in comparison to their recently appointed Executive Director of Strategy and Communications, Seamus Milne.

Milne is an unapologetic disciple of Josef Stalin. Yes that's the same Josef Stalin that murdered some 50 million of his own citizens in the name of his communist ideology.

With this new leadership firmly entrenched they have now announced their intention to achieve power and deliver 'socialism of the 21st century' to the British people. (See here)

Bernie Sanders aside, leading socialists and communists in America are not quite so overt as their British counterparts, choosing instead to clothe their party, along with their ideology and agenda, with more PR friendly terms such as 'Liberal' and 'Progressive' or as Hillary Clinton refers to herself, 'Progressive Democrat'.

Whatever fancy titles they give themselves it's their agenda and malign intentions that expose them for what they really are.

Compare the attitudes and policies of Clinton/Obama and the Democrats with those of Corbyn/McDonnell and the Labour party then note the similarities.

Corbyn and McDonnell loathe Great Britain, it's history and it's culture; to that end they support open border, mass immigration from the third world. They have put no limit on numbers despite the shortage of housing, jobs, school places, health care provision and money.

They are globalists who are committed to a borderless world governed by a UN based political elite.

They smear anyone who questions this destructive policy as racists, bigots, xenophobes or Fascist.

They are committed to the Islamification of Great Britain and promote the religious, cultural and moral equivalence of this incompatible and obviously backward death cult as practiced by the majority of Muslims. The declared intention of radical Muslim terrorists to commit mass murder is being studiously ignored with victims being considered as collateral damage in the great cultural replacement crusade.

As with mass immigration they smear anyone who questions this cultural destruction as Islamophobes or intolerant far-right nationalists.

In typical socialist fashion, and despite the unsustainable national debt, they intend to embark on a spending binge of unprecedented proportions; this will include the usual wet dream items such as increasing the minimum wage to an unaffordable ten pounds per hour, expanding the hated foreign aid budget, and extending welfare benefit entitlements to every adult in the country.

(Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have not gone as far as extending welfare benefits to everyone just yet but socialists have a history of following precedents so it may well come in the future)

Corbyn and the Labour party want a National Education Service which will be funded by levies on businesses which, if the current state education system is anything to go by, will be nothing more than a brainwashing operation delivering government propaganda to young impressionable minds.

They intend to borrow a mind boggling half trillion pounds (500 billion) to start up a centrally controlled National Investment Bank which will finance, among other things, the nationalization of the railways and other key industries. They have also promised to built a million new homes and impose a total ban on fracking.

They plan to pump endless more millions into the failed National Health Service (known in the USA as socialized medicine). Constructed for conditions in postwar Great Britain, the unreformed NHS has grown into an inefficient monolithic bureaucracy that is a black hole for taxpayer money and no longer fit for purpose.

The Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, was planned as a stepping stone to a single payer system which will use the NHS as a blueprint.

They intend to increase the wages of public sector workers without any kind of reform or increases in efficiency or productivity.

There are other areas of massive unfunded spending such as combating climate change and continued payments to the EU for access to their overrated single market so this list of items is by no means complete.

They plan to raise the money by 'asking everyone to pay a little more in taxes' including an increase in the top rate to 50%, increased taxes on businesses, an increase in corporation tax and an increase in borrowing. If this isn't enough, and it won't be, they plan to fire up the presses and print the money.

It doesn't take an avid researcher to discover that this 'socialism of the 21st century' is nothing new since the ideology doesn't change from one century to another.

These are the same economy wrecking policies that failed in the 19th and 20th centuries. The railways along with every other key industry were nationalized by the 1947 Labour government and subsequently failed.

A National Enterprise Board was put in place by the Harold Wilson Labour government in the 1970's and also failed. Whole sectors of Great Britain's once formidable industrial base were either decimated or disappeared entirely.

The state comprehensive education system put in place by the same Wilson government in the late 1960's failed to such an extent that basic educational standards have plummeted and upward mobility for the least well off has ceased.

Socialism in 20th century Great Britain resulted in industrial decline, record unemployment, poverty, misery and the ignominy of a British Chancellor of the Exchequer grovelling cap in hand to the International Monetary Fund for loan to bail out the bankrupt economy.

One cannot fail to mention that Jeremy Corbyn and his acolytes were enthusiastic supporters of the Hugo Chavez socialist revolution in Venezuela but never mention that sad and sorry country as an example of 21st century socialism. In fact they never mention it all since it's fall into poverty, misery and violent unrest.

In conclusion, I would humbly suggest that the American electorate ignore the appalling mainstream media whores and look at the damage that 20th century socialism has done to Great Britain and the further damage that it's 21st century offspring will do in the future should Corbyn and his comrades ever secure power.

These are the same policies that the Clinton/Obama Democrats want to impose on the American people which will be equally disastrous for them as it was for the British.

There Has Never Been A Better Time To Be A Socialist

It's become an accepted fact that people who refer to themselves as socialists have the unenviable ability to navigate the wide and crooked path through life with their heads firmly embedded up their nether regions. They are so blind to the obvious it's a wonder they can get out of bed in the morning without walking into the wall.

Regardless of all the evidence around them they persist in trying to justify their perverted ideology as if the world and history are flush with successful socialist states instead of failed poverty stricken tyrannies.

They are unable to acknowledge that the United Soviet of Socialist Republics collapsed due to the inability of state appointed career bureaucrats and party apparatchiks to control economic activity and the markets let alone control human nature and prevent the inherent need to be free.

They are unable to acknowledge that China, North Korea, Zimbabwe and latterly Venezuela, among others, are humanitarian disaster areas because of the imposition of socialist economic policies.

In a rambling, disjointed article in the online forum LabourList, one useful idiot from the British Labour Party demonstrates where his particular head is located by writing "there has never been a better time to be a socialist, because the answers to problems right now are socialist answers. The free market is not providing a solution because it is part of the problem". (See here)

One of the problems he is referring to is the mass immigration disaster whereby millions of third world economic migrants are competing for the jobs of British working people. He failed to mention however that these same economic migrants are also competing for housing, education and health care. They are also given other 'free stuff', including cash benefits which are a further incentive and sucking the taxpayer dry.

He argues that walls and fences won't stop the deluge of economic migrants while the labour market remains unregulated. He is obviously too dumb to realize the correlation between free markets and job creation. He is also not smart enough to realize that job creation increases opportunity for working people and increases the potential for future prosperity.

The American people were recently exposed to what their British cousins have been experiencing for generations when Democratic Presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, hit the campaign trail as a socialist. As a red herring he referred to himself as a 'democratic socialist' but as we know from history the words 'democratic' and 'socialist' are incompatible and cannot be used to compliment each other.

Sanders went through the entire campaign without once referring to the Soviet Union or the other countries mentioned above and he avoided the word 'Venezuela' like the plague because that particular country was sinking into the abyss of poverty, misery and bloodshed due the very ideology and policies he was selling to the American people.

The socialist policies advocated by Sanders are no different to the policies advocated by the eventual Democratic Party nominee, Hillary Clinton, although she avoids using the 'S' world preferring instead to label herself as a 'progressive' in an attempt to disassociate herself from the bloody history of her ideology.

Writing on LabourList pre-Brexit,  a fellow comrade of the party - she really does use the term 'comrade' - going by the name of Chi Onwurah, labels herself as a true internationalist and as a committed Europhile  she saw a 'progressive' European Union as a natural first step towards a Global Socialist State.

She goes on to add that she is not expecting the Global Socialist State any time soon so she will settle for a British one. (See here)

Like the other advocates, she never mentions the Soviet Union, North Korea, Zimbabwe or Venezuela, which was joining the others into the abyss at the very moment they were all on the campaign trail advocating the very same destructive socialist policies.

History teaches us that the politicians who advocate socialism never have to suffer the consequences of the disaster they impose on others. They enjoy the wealth and life style of the class they claim to hate and who's eradication they work so hard to bring about.

The sad thing about the deluded ideologues on both sides of the Atlantic, and across the world for that matter, is they have unlimited funding from malevolent power brokers and millions of dedicated followers that could be persuaded to put them into power, in which case may the Lord have mercy on us all.

Celebrities For Socialism - Barbra Streisand To Join The Exodus

Americans will be crying in their Budweisers today with the news that superannuated singer and actress, Barbra Streisand is joining the celebrity exodus should Donald Trump succeed in his bid to become the 45th President of the USA.

Whether these will be tears of joy or sadness is dependent upon one's intellectual level and political point of view. It is also dependent on whether one would miss such a gigantic hypocrite who rails against a political system that facilitated her accumulation of a massive fortune and who advocates a system that always results in poverty, misery and bloodshed for the masses.

Streisand is one of a long line of wealthy celebrity hypocrites who have threatened to leave the land of the free should the people fail to elect Hillary Clinton, a sociopath who lies incessantly to get her way and does so with little concern for others.

Bearing in mind that Clinton was so broke and indebted when she left the White House she had to nick the spoons and some furniture, she's done very well and accumulated a massive fortune herself despite not having a proper job in the real world.

There's nothing preventing them from putting into practice what they preach so one has to question the sincerity of Clinton, Streisand and the rest of the wealthy celebrity socialists when they rant on about income inequality, high taxes and wealth redistribution.

Ms. Streisand has joined other wealthy Tinsletown ingrates such as Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Simone along with Samuel L. Jackson who has promised to 'move his black a*s to South Africa' should Mr. Trump win in November. (See here)

Should they accept her, Ms. Streisand's preferred destination is far away Australia and failing that, a trek of nine hundred and fifty miles to Canada; It's worth noting that despite its close proximity to her humble abode in Malibu there's no mention of her crossing the southern border to Mexico or joining her ideological soulmates in Venezuela.

The silence is deafening from Ms. Streisand, Sean Penn and the rest of her fellow Hollywood champagne socialists as the victims of their ideology suffer the predicted poverty, hunger and misery along with increasingly violent civil strife. Michael Moore, Jimmy Carter, Oliver Stone are nowhere to be seen as the Venezuelan people suffer. (See here)

It's worth mentioning in passing that the world's most expensive, surgically altered carcass that goes by the name of Cher is taking herself off to Jupiter should Trump win. That is if she holds together during the take-off vibration.

One of the benefits of being born in the land of free is that people like Ms. Streisand and her fellow ingrates can cash in on their talent, albeit for acting and singing, and accumulate vast fortunes off the backs of the ordinary movie and concert going public.

Unlike the unfortunates that live under the socialist yoke, other benefits include the freedom to speak their minds no matter how much bovine excrement issues forth and the freedom to leave the country if it no longer meets their ideological requirements.

In a show of solidarity with her ideological soulmates, if Mr. Trump wins in November it will be incumbent upon Ms. Streisand to follow through on her threat and head to LAX where tickets to Caracas are available at a bargain seven hundred bucks and maybe she can take Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of her pals with her.

Orlando Jihad - It's Nothing To Do with Islam Pt II - It's Homophobia

It's not just in the United States that the socialist/communist/liberal community cynically used the Orlando massacre to advance their own agenda.

Across the Atlantic in Great Britain a similar left-wing callousness exists in the form of media diva Owen Jones, who for some unknown reason gets plenty of air time to enlighten us about the blessings of socialism and to advance his personal LGBT agenda.

His petulant outburst on a Sky TV discussion about the Orlando massacre ended with him storming off the set simply because the other participants didn't acknowledge that the Islamic jihadi massacre in Orlando was motivated by so-called homophobia. (See here)

For those unfamiliar with Owen Jones, he is an archetypal socialist who's indoctrination from birth has driven out any cranial facility he may have had to understand that there are legitimate opinions that are contrary to his own. The fact that Jones maintains an unshakable belief in his socialist ideology even when presented with irrefutable facts and evidence of its failure proves beyond doubt his mental and emotional incapacity.

Like all members of the socialist/communist/liberal community Jones's indoctrination means that he holds deeply held principles solely because that's what's been drummed into his head as the absolute truth.

Anyone who has had the unenviable misfortune of debating with a lefty will know that it's a pointless exercise that they can never win. Socialists like Jones cannot accept anything outside of their rigid mindset; they believe that their beliefs and principles are morally superior to everyone else's which the rest of the world will eventually adopt by mysterious process of historical inevitability.

When their ideology is exposed as the cause of poverty, misery and bloodshed across the planet using facts and irrefutable examples, they resort to labeling, smears and storming out of the studio in order to deflect the truth and close down the debate.

Like all other indoctrinated socialists, Jones accepts the tenets of his religion without question, even if it contradicts reality or basic logic. The tenet that applies in this case is that any criticism of homosexuals, the LGBT community or their aggressive agenda to continue portraying themselves as victims of bigotry must be dismissed as homophobia.

When radical Muslims attacked and killed eighty-nine innocent people attending a rock concert at the Bataclan theatre in Paris, it was universally accepted, including by Owen Jones, that they did it in the name of Allah, as commanded by their prophet Mohammad and as written in their holy book the Koran, as part of their jihad against civilization.

Likewise the massacres in San Bernadino, Chattanooga, Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon and New York on 9/11, to name but a few.

When a radical Muslim murders forty-nine innocent party goers at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, we must all accept that the prime motivation was not Islamic jihad but homophobia or else Owen Jones will have a hissy fit and storm out of a discussion.  

Watching the behavior of militant homosexuals and listening to their continuing whining, it's obvious that the biggest thing in their lives is not their achievements but the fact that they are homosexual and consequently perpetual victims of a homophobic society.

If the truth be known, the majority of people couldn't care less about who Owen Jones, or any other homosexual goes to bed with, but their constant aggressive demands that the their sexual proclivities be given a high profile and exposed to pre-pubescent children puts people off and does their cause no good whatsoever.

In conclusion it must be noted that like all brainwashed socialists, Jones accepts the tenets of his religion without question or understanding of what the repercussions of his fanaticism could be.

He uses his high profile to campaign with Muslims against perceived Islamophobia obviously ignorant of the fact that the vast majority of Muslims in the world would throw him off a tall building and stone his body to pulp if it shows any signs of life after the fall.

Jones is also ignorant of the fact that if he travels to Tehran to show solidarity with his fellow homosexuals he would be strung up by a crane in the city centre. He would be met with a similar fate in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Libya, Syria and all the other hell holes on the planet the citizens of which Jones would allow unvetted into western countries to continue their jihad.

Update: This was written prior to the murder of  British Member of Parliament by a man with a history of mental illness. Indications are that this tragedy is already being used by the socialist/communist/liberal community for political purposes to further their agenda. Socialism Strikes Again - Bankrupt EU Is Planning To Seize Private Wealth

Arrogant politicians are so full of themselves they refuse to listen to anyone or learn any lessons from past experience or historical precedent. This is particularly true of socialists whose minds are closed to anything outside their failed, poverty inducing ideology.

The Far-Left President of France, Francois Hollande, campaigned on a socialist ticket and was warned at the time that his policies would cause capital flight and an exodus of France's wealth creating talent which would eventually bankrupt the economy.

He refused to listen and went ahead regardless. He increased taxes to penal levels, extended and increased welfare entitlements and imposed a raft of other socialist policies in order to address those old worn out socialist goals of inequality and social justice.

And so it came to pass as predicted - the government taxed, borrowed and spent the French economy into oblivion, consequently condemning into poverty and misery the very people he was supposed to save.

President Hollande has declared a 'state of economic emergency' which is a spin doctor's way of saying 'bankrupt' without actually uttering the dreaded word. His solution is of mind-numbing stupidity and typical of an ideologue who is incapable of thinking beyond his ideology. He plans to pay employers to employ laid off workers but doesn't say where the money is coming from.

To make matters infinitely worse for the European Union and put it's project to replace the nation states of Europe with a single state; the German economy, which bankrolls the project, is facing financial ruin also.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has managed to destroy the mighty German economy with a combination of generous and extensive welfare entitlements, a suicidal policy of open border mass immigration from the poor undeveloped third world and bankrolling the bailouts of the failed economies of the Eurozone.

Another Greek bailout is looming in a matter of months closely followed by the failed economies of Portugal, Italy, Ireland and Spain - collectively referred to as PIIGS - along with Cyprus and the former communist Eastern European countries left over from the defunct Soviet Union empire.

It must be noted at this point that Angela Merkel was a Communist Party apparatchik in the old Soviet satellite state of East Germany which was a dismal totalitarian state where the people were kept oppressed by Stasi, the notorious and ruthless secret police.

Merkel, the most powerful leader in the EU will have been a willing participant in the repressive totalitarian regime therefore it can be fairly assumed that it runs in her blood like ice water. It's in her DNA.

Led by Merkel, how does the EU politburo react to the pending economic disaster that is putting their beloved superstate project in jeapordy?

It's no coincidence that as the crisis unfolds the ruling bureaucrats in the European Commission are floating two consecutive regulations. (This is what they do prior to imposing a regulation)

i) Issue each citizen and business of the nation states with a Tax Identification Number (TIN). This is widely regarded as a prelude to pan-European taxation. See here

ii) Compile a Register of Global Assets. The politburo need to know the total wealth residing in the EU, where it is held and by who. See here

Coupling the instinctive totalitarian nature of the socialists that run the EU and the precedent of seizing private wealth to bail out the bankrupt economies of Greece and Cyprus one can see where this is heading.

One must bear in mind that the individual nation states already have systems in place to tax their citizens so this means that the power to raise money through taxation will be transferred from elected nation state politicians to un-elected bureaucrats at EU headquarters in Brussels who cannot be removed by popular vote.

One of the foundations of a free society "no taxation without representation" will have been surrendered without consultation and another nail will be hammered into the coffin of liberty, democracy and prosperity in Europe.

Most countries that make up the EU are mired in unsustainable levels of debt, even the supposed economic powerhouses of Germany, Great Britain and France. The drive to build an artificial country with a single currency has already broken the economies of the smaller Mediterranean countries and this, combined with the cost of the mass immigration disaster, is threatening to break the big guns also.

The politicians have spent the economies of Europe, especially the Eurozone, into bankruptcy and abject poverty. The national Treasuries are empty leaving only one remaining source of money for them to pillage, i.e. private wealth.

Totalitarianism and seizure of private wealth under the guise of common ownership for the collective good have been the hallmarks of socialism since it was first codified by Karl Marx. If anyone was under the impression that this failed economic system died with its creator in the 19th century I suggest they watch the actions of the EU politburo and be enlightened.


 

Noisy Socialist Cheerleaders Are Silent On Venezuela's Demise

Where are they? The silence is deafening. The great and the good, the wealthy celebrities who stood in solidarity with the poor and oppressed from behind their mansion walls and atop their multi-million dollar fortunes.

Where are the career politicians on both sides of the Atlantic who, bloated on taxpayer funded loot, paraded before the world's media proclaiming their support for the late Hugo Chavez and his socialist revolution. The revolution that was going to abolish inequality and empower the disenfranchised and downtrodden?

Where is the former President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, who gave his blessing to the the rigged election that saw the dictator Chavez returned to power?

Where is Jeremy Corbyn the far-left leader of the British Labour Party, a life long socialist and prospective British Prime Minister at the next general election? (Read about the hypocrites here)

It has come to pass that from behind his walled citadel the Pope never misses an opportunity to lecture the civilised, developed world about their obligations to economic migrants and their duty to share their non-existent wealth but he's swallowed his tongue on the consequences of wealth sharing in Venezuela.

Most disturbingly of all, where is the media? Where are the images of the food lines and empty supermarket shelves, of desperate people looting the scarce goods that are available in order to feed themselves and their families?

As resource rich Venezuela descends into chaos and the people resort to eating garbage as a side dish to feral cats and dogs the current socialist dictator, Nicolas Maduro, has built what socialist dictators throughout history have always built, i.e. a tyrannical totalitarian state.

With this disaster unfolding in Venezuela, along with similar disasters across the planet including Greece, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Puerto Rico etc. etc., the noisiest proponents for socialism have gone eerily silent.

The world is waiting with baited breath to hear from Hugo Chavez cheerleaders Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, Michael Moore, Danny Glover and Former President Jimmy Carter.

From Great Britain the world waits for words of wisdom on Venezuelan socialism from far-left Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn along with his former girlfriend and Shadow Minister of State for International Development, Dianne Abbot.

Other high profile cheerleaders for Venezuelan socialism are former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone and darling of left-wing journalism, Owen Jones, who are both conspicuous by their absence.

In the USA, when asked to comment on the socialist disaster unfolding in Venezuela, Democratic Party candidate for the presidential nomination, Bernie Sanders, refused to answer adding that he wants to concentrate on his campaign.

For the uninitiated, Sanders is campaigning for a socialist society in the USA. In other words he wants the same system that has wrecked Venezuela and reduced its citizens to abject poverty and starvation to be imposed on the American people.

His competitor for the nomination, former First Lady, Secretary of State and Alinskyite socialist, Hillary Clinton has also remained tight lipped about the disaster in Venezuela.

In conclusion, while it would appear that the cat has got the tongues of the aforementioned cheerleaders for socialism there is a reason for their silence. It's been bought with a promise that they will be immune from the consequences of a Venezuelan type catastrophe that will affect all the nations on earth if the UN/EU gets its way.

For those who follow global politics and world events it is plainly obvious that the UN/EU controlled global elite are engineering a one world, borderless planet based on the principles of total equality between nations, cultures and peoples. The whole world cannot be upgraded to western levels of prosperity, therefore in order to achieve global equality western nations must be downgraded accordingly and made less prosperous.

The continuous war on the middle class is proof positive of this.

That end result will be, as it always is in socialist societies, a governing elite immune from the consequences of their actions controlling the wealth of the planet and the rest of us plebs fighting for scraps.

They Felt The Bern In Venezuela Now They Can't Get Toilet Paper

They'll either be throwing their hands up in despair in downtown Caracas today, or splitting their sides with laughter, as Bernie Sanders wins the New Hampshire Democratic Primary by promising lots of 'free stuff' to blinkered voters under the banner of something called 'democratic socialism'.

Mentioning 'democratic' and 'socialism' in the same sentence is itself an indication of delusion which seems to infect all proponents of this tested, failed and derelict ideology.

Both Democratic Party candidates in the Presidential primaries, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton espouse socialism as their core ideology although the more PR conscious Clinton prefers to use the more image friendly labels 'progressive' or 'liberal'.

It doesn't matter how it's packaged, socialism/communism remains a destructive ideology with a proven track record of abject failure, poverty, misery and tyranny.

Although both Sanders and Clinton are careful to hide the connection between socialism and communism it doesn't take much to expose the truth.

Don't be fooled by Sanders using the tag 'democratic socialism' or Clinton using 'progressive', or 'liberal' - "The goal of socialism is communism" so says Vladimir Lenin and he should know.

The relationship, between socialism and communism could not have been put better than by Ayn Rand when she opined thus:

"There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism - by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide".

The theory of socialism and communism is in itself seductive with it's message of fairness together with the abolition of demons such as inequality, poverty, hunger, homelessness and war along with creating a caring, sharing community where everyone wallows in brotherly love.

It's enough to melt the hearts of even the hardest capitalists and convert them into woolly, hand wringing bleeding hearts overnight if only they would listen to wealthy career politicians such as Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton who, incidentally, happen to be members of the ruling class they claim to be fighting against on behalf of the people.

The reality of socialism/communism cannot be more different and it should not have slipped anyone's notice that neither Sanders nor Clinton ever give examples of a successful socialist country and they avoid like the plague any mention of the plethora of failed socialist countries that blight the planet - Venezuela being one of the latest.

They also fail to mention as they promote their destructive creed, the inevitable lapse into totalitarianism that has always accompanied socialism/communism wherever in the world it raises it's ugly head.

Only last week resource rich Venezuela was hiring a fleet of Jumbo jets to import millions of bank notes in order to cope with their 720% inflation rate.

In this resource rich country the late tyrant, Hugo Chavez along with his successor Nicolas Maduro, have managed to engineer shortages of everything from basic foodstuffs, such as  flour, eggs, meat and vegetables to condoms and personal cleanliness products such as soap, toothpaste and toilet paper.

Sanders, Clinton and the bought-and-paid-for main stream media may hide it from the public during the election campaign but Venezuela is a living example of the utter dereliction, poverty and misery that results from the very socialist policies being touted by these two career politicians.

Shortages of basic goods, food riots, along with poverty and misery for the masses are standard in all socialist/communist countries but it is the inevitable lapse into totalitarianism that should concern people the most.

Despite former US President Jimmy Carter declaring the Venezuelan elections 'free and fair', Chavez and his successor Maduro used intimidation, media censorship and murder to steal elections and remain in power.

With the country and the economy in ruins thanks to the Hugo Chavez socialist revolution, Jimmy Carter remained in denial about his hero and his perverted ideology; he wanted Chavez to be remembered for the 'gains he made for the poor and vulnerable' and opining further that 'we have never doubted Hugo Chavez's commitment to improving the lives of millions of his fellow countrymen'.

Exactly who the 'we' are that Carter is referring to remains a mystery but it is safe to assume that it's his fellow believers; it is no mystery however to note that if Carter, along with Sanders and Clinton, were forced to live under the economic system they propose for others they may not be quite such enthusiastic advocates.

In conclusion it is worth pointing out to the obviously committed supporters of both Sanders and Clinton the words of one observant commentator who stated with wit that although 'the road to socialism is paved with unwiped a*ses, they will soon be able to attend to their personal hygiene with worthless banknotes.

Richard Burton The Original Tax Exile - 'Progressives' Will Never Learn

Reading a biography of world famous actor Richard Burton is mesmerising and thought provoking to say the least. His ascent from more than humble beginnings in the South Wales coalfield to world fame and riches is a revelation; as are his boozing, womanising and general hell raising.

Burton's life is a tale of blessings, mistakes, decision making, both right and wrong and a host of lessons to be learned for any normal student of human behaviour or economics. This does not include budding politicians or members of the 'progressive' political establishment; whatever they are taught is irrelevant, they will pursue the same old failed ideology no matter what.

Trying to cover the life of Richard Burton here would be pointless, however some references have to be made to illustrate the point.

Apart from the trauma of his mothers death, a drunken father and grinding poverty he worked horrendous hours to hone his voice and acting skills in order to complement his natural talent; they started to bear fruit with a scholarship to Oxford University where his talent was spotted and from that point onwards the legend began.

His reputation as a stage actor grew to the point where his acting started to attract an income undreamed of in his coalfield home and also the attention of the taxman.

British politicians of the day, both Labour and Conservative, were obsessed with inequality and the redistribution of wealth and as a consequence they set about their stupidity with gusto.

Tax rates over eighty percent for individuals were not uncommon. In 1957, the year when Richard Burton declared enough was enough, the systematic looting of his livelihood left him with a measly six thousand pounds from his annual earnings of eighty-two thousand. Yes, you read that right - he was allowed to keep just six thousand of his eighty-two thousand pound earnings!

He jumped ship to Celigny in Switzerland leaving the British Chancellor of the Exchequer with eighty percent of nothing. Great Britain's loss was Burton's gain and he remained wealthy and domiciled in Switzerland where his mortal remains lay to this day.

One would have thought that the Labour government of 1974 would have learned the lessons of high taxation and Richard Burton's exile but not so. In his first budget three weeks after taking office, the then Chancellor of the Exchequer, a former communist named Denis Healey , set about implementing a socialist program of wealth redistribution by increasing taxation to penal levels.

Corporation tax on companies was increased by twelve percent to fifty-three percent.

VAT of ten percent was added to petrol (gasoline) and also applied to sweets, ice cream, soft drinks and crisps (potato chips)

Duty on beer, wine and spirits was increased by one pence, ten pence and twenty pence respectively.

Tax relief for interest on loans used to buy second homes was withdrawn.

Income tax was raised by three percent taking the basic rate to thirty-three percent. A new tax band at thirty-eight percent was introduced and the top rate was increased from seventy-five percent to eighty-three percent. (75% to 83%)

That's not all, the tax on 'unearned' income was set at ninety-eight percent (98%). 'Unearned' income consisted of investment income, dividends, interest etc.

The budget was a disaster whereby a whole host of entertainers, businessmen, companies and investors jumped ship and joined Richard Burton in exile on more taxation friendly shores.Two years later Great Britain went bust and was forced to go crawling to the IMF for loan.

It took over a decade of financial discipline and free market economics under the guidance of Mrs. Thatcher for the economy to recover from the Labour years of socialist economic illiteracy.

Unfortunately it wasn't to last. The Tony Blair government of 1997 had learned absolutely nothing from the socialist disasters of the past and spent the country into bankruptcy even after imposing over one hundred new taxes.      

A degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from Oxford University has become a uniting factor among the ruling political class in Great Britain. Regardless of whether they are members of the Conservative, Labour or the ridiculously named Liberal Democrat parties, whether they claim to be capitalists, socialists, communists or 'progressives', this qualification appears to be the key to political power.

Add to this some strategically positioned PPE graduates in the world of business, the establishment and the media, including the state broadcaster, otherwise known as the BBC, it should become blindingly obvious that there does exist a political elite in Great Britain who have learned how to pervert democracy and usurp power.

It's difficult not to notice that this modern political elite regardless of party allegiance, look the same; they have the same mannerisms and they talk the same. They speak in the same incomprehensible language which is riddled with inanities, soundbites, slogans and outright lies.

Whatever they teach on this PPE degree course it obviously isn't based on common sense, arithmetic or experience in the real world. This supposedly educated political elite have not learned from the failures of the past and subsequently repeat the same disastrous errors.

This failed policy can be described by four easy words:

Tax, Spend, Borrow and Debt. As always the resultant consequence is an economic crisis of some description which usually includes bankruptcy, recession, a currency crisis, a credit crunch, unemployment and a financial downgrade for the many.

At time of writing, David Cameron's Conservative government is borrowing in the region of  one hundred billion per year with the national debt standing at 1.4 trillion and rising at approximately two billion per week.

Despite their rhetoric and spin the government refuses to cut spending in areas that would affect the imposition of their 'progressive' agenda or the international commitments they have made to the global 'progressive' elite, i.e the UN mandated 0.7% of GDP on foreign aid along with sixty-four billion per year to the EU bureaucrats.

It would be novel if the Professors at Oxford University include the experience of Richard Burton, one of their most famous alumni, at the hands of politicians in an effort to make their renown PPE degree more effective in preventing the economic disasters its holders always achieve.

In conclusion, no article on socialist/progressive stupidity would be complete without a mention of France and the election of Francois Hollande on an openly socialist ticket. Neither the French people nor their economically illiterate President have learned a thing from history, nor do they possess an ounce of common sense.

They were warned that his promise to increase taxes on the 'rich' to seventy-five percent would result in a migration of talent and capital but they went ahead and elected him regardless.

And so it came to pass, Hollande did what he promised and, led by actor Gerard Depardieu, business people, entertainers, innovators and even footballers all upped stakes and left. See a previous article on tax exiles here.
